    Interior night

    is a narrative studio based in London.

    Ok, can we run it?

    We're a small team of 40 people

    all coming from different cultural and

    professional background whether it's film

    games, or illustration.

    And we think this diversity makes
    us better storytellers.

    On the ground, now!

    We're really writing for as many
    people as possible.

    to be as inclusive and
    accessible as possible.

    And so our secret goal with that

    is to bring more people into games.

    and to lure them, with story,
    into interactivity.

    We take our inspiration from

    prestige TV and novels

    more than film, actually, because
    of the scope

    of the stories we're writing

    and the complexity of the characters

    I'm a big fan, for example, of
    True Detective

    The Warrior, The Americans

    like so much great TV get's written
    these days

    But we're also looking into

    true crime documentaries

    because they are a great

    mirror for humans' soul

    and this is where you see all the
    shades of gray

    to human behaviors and motivations.

    and it's quite educating and fascinating.

    We wanted to make this game

    because it felt really important

    for us to tackle real-life subject matters

    that anyone could relate to because it

    happened to them directly or at least
    to someone they know.

    Sometimes the situations are
    slightly inflated

    'cause real life is often

    even more crazy that what you
    can read or see.

    The visual style of our game is very unique

    It's a mix of 2D and 3D

    and it sits at the crossroads between

    a high-end graphic novel and film.

    because of the camera work

    So for us it was really the perfect

    expression of the story we wanted to tell

    because thanks to the style, we get
    really subtle

    facial expression and evocative settings

    and characters.

    We think that now is a great time to share

    new type of narrative experiences

    because when you look at what's
    happening, like TV and games

    are converging

    when you've got interactive
    stories coming up

    and also everybody consumes
    really elaborate

    stories, the audience is extremely
    narrative-savvy

    so it's a great time to just go out there

    and carve our own path.

    Our goal is really to create

    empathy for these characters

    through relatability because
    they go through

    ah, real-life struggles,

    real-life experiences,

    that we've all encountered in our life.

    1. We have an art class game c'mon Xbox you better then that I hope they will stop making games for PC when are they gonna stop putting Xbox exclusives on pc

    2. Would it have been that much more expensive to make it live action? Even if it was in front of fake looking greenscreen it would be less irritating than this.

    5. This caught my attention more so than any other game in the Xbox presentation. I really believe in this convergence with film and strong interactive cinematic experiences. Really look forward to seeing this develop! PERFECT! PERFECT!! 🙂
