If you ask me, there's 2 kinds of people who play don't starve together. There's the people who think the geometric placement mod is mandatory, and the people who almost hate it, like me. When someone else has the geometric placement mod, it always feels like I'm being judged for the tiniest irregularities in what I place, but a HUGE part of the charm for me is having a base that nobody can copy, things will always look similar sure, but it's always flexible and unique looking. I don't like the look of seeing plants in rows and columns frame perfect, that doesn't look legit or like a survival game whatsoever to me, aren't you supposed to be surviving rather than trying to make everything look perfect? That's how I see the mod anyway, it's just a nuisance to me.
Farming is useful. If you know how to really utilize it, that is. It isn’t just straight trash.

If a console player comes looking for advice and you’re like “okay you’re fucked without mods” it’s kind of annoying as all hell.

Wow, really informational guide as well as a relaxing voice to listen to. Needless to say i loved the vid. Great job
One problem i have with this video is it’s telling me what not to worry about. Ok, sanity, hunger, mobs, dark and winter are all things i don’t have to worry about, but then what DO I worry about? I’m assuming the strategy is to just run and run, living off of carrots and raw food, u til you find a good place to set up base. And also to figure out where things are so you can go back to those locations when you need to.
What I do when I play this game
1. Gather resources and camping outside for few days
2. Make base/fire etc
3. Find food recourses, dig it and plant (make sure you have Guano)
4. Farming Silk
5. Go into sinkhole/ wormhole
6. Explore and more resources
7. Died on winter (every f time)
Is geometric available on console?
Is there a button that makes you auto attack kinda like space?
The problem I had with bringing twigs/berries/grass back to my base was the damn disease..I’ve seen you turn it off in your recent lp but before that how did you deal with it? Jut dig up the mouldy stuff and plant new??
