Watch at: 00:00 / 00:00:20[Music]hello and welcome to the second episodeof the insiders guide to project cars towhere today we're going to be taking alook at both the pitch strategy menu andalso the in-car management menu we'regoing to start off with the pitchstrategy menu first as a number ofthings that ty rather nicely with theWatch at: 00:20 / 00:40in-car management menu later so it makessense to do it this way around and thepit strategy menu can be found on boththe pre-race screen at the start of racesessions but also in the English screensduring your practice and qualifyingsessions as well so going into the pitchstrategy menu we have an option here toWatch at: 00:40 / 01:00create a new pitch strategy we obviouslygot an already existing default strategyand then down in the bottom left herewe've got a breakdown with fuel tiesdamaged representing how long thepitstop is going to take with anestimation in seconds and then obviouslythe default pitch strategy is currentlythe one that is shown as active by thetip indicated here and there's also anWatch at: 01:00 / 01:20option to edit that default bit strategyas well we are however going to create anew pit strategy first and depending onthe type of race that you're going to begoing into you may want to think abouthow you're going to actually name yourpitch strategy as you may need to createmultiple pitch strategies especially forWatch at: 01:20 / 01:40longer races now generally I tend tobreak this down into three main areasbeginning with tires your fuel and thenyour repair options at the end so youbasically want to try and think of thisin a way as making it as clear andconcise as possible what it is thatyou're going to be doing in your pitWatch at: 01:40 / 02:00stop with this pitch strategy so forexample let's say I won the fresh set ofhard tires and hot slick tires I want totake full fuel and I want to do fullrepair so I'm gonna go pitch standingfor hard tires and go F fuel for a fulltank of fuel and an F repair or F prepWatch at: 02:00 / 02:20for a whole repair to the calfso now we're getting a little bit deeperinto the pit strategy menu where we havethe same breakdown that we hadpreviously with the estimation insecondswe've gone option here to change our petstrategy name if we wish to just to letthat again and I open up this dialogwindow where you can change or enter inWatch at: 02:20 / 02:40a new name but obviously I'm happy withthat we've got the fuel and tires setupwe've got the damage repair we've gotthe option to save our pit strategy andthen we've got an option to reset ourpit strategy to its defaults so goinginto the fuel entire setup option hereyou get presented we have a whole bunchof stuff that you can change related toWatch at: 02:40 / 03:00the fuel and tires for your car nowobviously this is all very much cardependent as to what stuff you canchoose especially the tire compoundsobviously certain cars use certain tirecompounds so not everything is going tobe available and then the amount of fuelthat you can add into the car is verymuch dependent on the size of the fuelWatch at: 03:00 / 03:20tank in the car so lowering this you canput it all the way down to adding zerolitres of fuel in the pit stop whichobviously means that you're not going toput any fuel in the car and then youcould put it all the way up to themaximum full tank capacity which in theBMW m6 gt3 that recurrently in currentlyin its 131 liters you also have anWatch at: 03:20 / 03:40estimation here as to how many lapsyou'll be able to do with that amount offuel that you are adding in and to startoff with this is reasonably inaccuratebecause it is tied to the average fuelconsumption if you were to go out and doa whole bunch of laps in practice andqualifying sessions obviously yourWatch at: 03:40 / 04:00average fuel consumption will be a lotmore accurate which means that theestimation of how many laps the fuel isworth is going to be a lot more accuratenow obviously if I was to go into a pitstop with 20 litres still in the car andI've choosen to add 131 liters which isWatch at: 04:00 / 04:20the maximum amount of viewer that thefuel tank can possibly hold it's notgoing to add the full 131 liters it'sgoing to fill it up to the brim of thatfuel tank so I'm only going to be addinga hundred and eleven litres in this casewhere I'm going in with 20 litres offuelalready in the car so you need to bearWatch at: 04:20 / 04:40that in mind when choosing the amount ofjewel that you're going to be puttinginto the car but it's a pretty good waywhere you can work out how much fuelyou're going to need for the entireduration of the race and then you canset your fuel accordingly for the firststint and then for the second spin youcan obviously deduct that first in fromWatch at: 04:40 / 05:00the total amount of fuel that you needand then you'll be left with the amountof fuel that you'll need to add in tothe car to do the remainder of the racebelow that you have the change tiresoption at the moment this is set to nonebut you can choose which ties we'dactually like to change on the carrecommended we'll change the tires thatWatch at: 05:00 / 05:20are damaged or have been worn quitebadly and then you can choose to justchange the front tires or you can chooseto change just the rear tires and thenyou finally have the option to changeall tires they're matching all tirecompounds effects these four optionshere and obviously if you set this toWatch at: 05:20 / 05:40yesall of these will change in unisonwhereas if you set it to no you canchange each individual tire for thecorner of the car individually so youcan choose to have say just soft slickson the front and then hard slicks on therear if you really want to which worksvery very nicely for IndyCar and ovalracing so we're going to set this to yesWatch at: 05:40 / 06:00and then we're going to change and setour option to hard slick tires as that'swhat we're planning on doing with thispit strategy here we're planning ongoing full fuel so we've got that setalready at 131 liters and then at thebottom here you've got the tirepressures that you're going to besetting in your pit stop when changingtires now bear in mind these are theWatch at: 06:00 / 06:20cold pressures that you're going to besetting in your pit stop which meansthat when the pit stop actually happensthe tire pressures that are going to beset on the car are going to be aboutnaught point three to not point four barhigher than this value here these valuesare currently in bar and acquaintingWatch at: 06:20 / 06:40that into psi it's about four pointthree to five point eight psi higherthan the values that will be set here inthe pit strategy option so make sure tokeep thatwhen you're actually setting up your pitstrategy that these options are actuallynot 0.32 not by four and four pointWatch at: 06:40 / 07:00three to five point eight psilower than what were what you will beactually getting when the tire changesactually happenednow coming to the damage repair sectionyou can choose what areas of the car youwould actually like to repair so you'vegot the four corners of the car for thesuspension the brakes obviously you'vegot the gearbox here the engine and thenWatch at: 07:00 / 07:20you've got front aerodynamics and rearaerodynamics as well these will taketime to repair this is a big differencebetween project cars - and the firstgame where the first game you prettymuch got instant repairs and you didn'thave to worry about it but now inproject cars - actually takes time torepair each various part of the car theWatch at: 07:20 / 07:40suspension will take 30 seconds torepair for each individual corner thebrakes will also take 30 seconds torepair for each individual corner thegearbox will take three minutes torepair and so will the engine that'sanother three minutes front error wouldtake 20 seconds and then rear arrow willWatch at: 07:40 / 08:00take 40 seconds to repair which meansthey'll give a grand total of 10 minutesto repair everything on the car nowobviously as I'm planning on doing afull repair on the car I'm gonna puteverything - yes in this here and youcan see that the pitstop estimation isgoing up with that as well and that isbecause it is taking into full accountWatch at: 08:00 / 08:20of repairing absolutely everything herenow obviously if I go into the actualpitstop itself and I don't have anydamage on the car the damage step willbe ignored and it will be skippedbecause there's no damage to actuallyrepair on the car so it'll take a lotlot less time than the eight hundred andforty-one seconds that is approximatingWatch at: 08:20 / 08:40here with the rest of the pitstop thatwe are currently planning so keep thatin mind when obviously going into a raceas to what kind of damage you're likelyto get and also whether it's actuallygoing to be worth trying to repair thattime obviously the longer the race theWatch at: 08:40 / 09:00the more chance you have to repair thecar and claw back the timeyou have lost in the pit stop bother seeon very short races it's probably notworth taking the time to repair say theaerodynamics or the engine or thegearbox in a pit stop so take that intoWatch at: 09:00 / 09:20account when setting up a pit stop forthe race and tailor it to the type ofrace that you're actually doing so nowthat we're happy with our pit strategywe obviously going to save it hitcontinue and then we shall be returnedto the pit strategy menu and you can seethat the pit strategy that we have justcreatedhas now been added to the list of pitWatch at: 09:20 / 09:40strategies here and selecting it willmake it active with the tick icon and Iwanna see I can choose to delete it if Iso wish I could choose to go back in andedit it as well so as you can see nowI've created a whole bunch of pitstrategies which have been added andlisted here I've used the same namingconventions as before so in this pitWatch at: 09:40 / 10:00strategy I'm planning on using orchanging to a soft tire obviously goingwith a full tank of fuel on a fullrepair this pit strategy as you can seedown at the bottom here and then planfor any damage repairs at all and that'smade the pit stop estimation a lot lotlower than the previous estimationsobviously this is not going to take a 4Watch at: 10:00 / 10:20841 seconds if I don't have any damageto actually repair it's just estimatingthe very worst case scenario essentiallybut with this option when I'm notplanning on doing any damage repairs theestimation is a lot lot lower I'mplowing on changing to the hard ties butI'm only planning on adding 55 litres offuel as well not a full tank this timeWatch at: 10:20 / 10:40this strategy as you can see I'm notplanning on putting any fuel into thecar which is why the bar is completelyempty but I'm planning on changing tothe soft ties and I'm planning on doingthe full repair on the car as welland in this final strategy basicallyjust accounting for any changes to wetweather so I've got a wet weather tireWatch at: 10:40 / 11:00plant for this one obviously only adding20 litres of fuel so just a quick splashand - and again no damage repair plannedfor the car either so hopefully thathelped you learn a little bit about howthe pit strategy menu works and we'renow going to take a look at the in-carmanagement menu so now we're going totake a look at the ICM and youWatch at: 11:00 / 11:20otherwise known as the income managementmenu I doubt too many people areactually familiar with this and haveseen as it's something that is new toproject cars - and hasn't really beencovered yet but it's a very verypowerful tool and once I've shown it toyou you probably end up using it quite alot whilst driving out on the circuit soif we quickly go into the options goWatch at: 11:20 / 11:40under controls and then edit assignmentsand then into the game tab here youshould see these five options you've gota car management option here which isdefaulted to the d-pad UP button andthen we've got the ICM and you up downleft and right which are mapped to thearrows on the d-pad so see d-pad up theWatch at: 11:40 / 12:00pad down left right you get the idea nowthe d-pad up button upon initialpressing will open the income managementmenu and I can navigate it up and downand also change various features sowe'll show you that to you now and it'sbasically it's mapped to the d-pad byWatch at: 12:00 / 12:20default on the wheels on the controllersfor your PS Foyle and your Xbox sopretty much everyone should be able toaccess this but pressing it up will openup this menu here and there's a wholebunch of stuff and then up and down wellobviously navigate up and down left andright will allow you to change variousbits up and down turn things on and offWatch at: 12:20 / 12:40and also go into pages and then providedyou've got that go back or the closeoption highlighted you'll be able tointeract with those to close the ICM nowif I press up on d-pad once to open theICM menu and don't touch anything theICM menu will automatically close afterfive seconds it does this if the playerWatch at: 12:40 / 13:00does not interact with the ICM menu sowhat I mean by interacting with it issimply pressing up or down or changingsomething so if I was to wait fourseconds and then press the down it willreset that five second timer and give meanother five seconds of the menu Blairbeing present which means it's quiteuseful for when you're kind of goingWatch at: 13:00 / 13:20through a sequence of corners you cankind of quickly bring the ICM menu upand then keep open for a little bit andthen once you're through that sequenceof corners you can then actually focusand interact with the ICM menuso actually going through the ICM menunow obviously there's various differentthings that you can see here we've gotthe option to close it we've got anWatch at: 13:20 / 13:40option to change the brake bias we'vegot an option to change the fuel map onthe car we've got an option to requestpit stop we got a car management whichgoes into a subset of menus and thenwe've got race strategy and I've got asubset of menus there as well but theseoptions that are available in the ICMmenu very much depend on the car thatWatch at: 13:40 / 14:00you're driving not everything is goingto be available and it tightly dependson what car is some cars allow for orShack most cars allow for brake biasadjustment some cars will allow for fuelmapping and then the car management youcan see we've got traction control andanti-lock braking that the front andrear anti-roll bars are locked out forWatch at: 14:00 / 14:20us here as we cannot change those on thefly in the BMW m6 gt3 car that routewe're currently in other cars howeverwill allow you to change the frontanti-roll bars and the rear anti-rollbars whilst out on track and whilstdriving around those options will beenabled in that case so obviously thebrake fires here will go through thevarious options now brake bias obviouslyWatch at: 14:20 / 14:40allows you to change the brake biastowards the front obviously as we if wequickly flicked the motet display to thenext page you'll be able to see thatchanging the brake bias here for thefront braking basically the percentageof the bias towards the front of the caryou can change that to see that changingon the motet display as well and at theWatch at: 14:40 / 15:00moment with the 60 it means that we'reset 60% towards the front 40% bias ofbraking towards the rear now the fuelmap by default this stays in rich butyou can change it down to normaland pour soap down to lean and basicallythat's a trade off / balance between theWatch at: 15:00 / 15:20amount of fuel going into the enginewhich are then obviously affects theamount of power is putting out whichobviously affects your acceleration yourtop speed but also then affects yourfuel consumption as wella Fiat rich fuel mixture or rich fuelmap would mean that an awful lot of fuelwas going in which means that you getWatch at: 15:20 / 15:40more horsepower which then obviouslymeans more acceleration better top speedalso meansfuel consumption whereas a lean mixwould mean that I'll be less fuel goingin which means that you save more fuelBobbsey you will have less power whichmeans the acceleration and your topspeed won't be so great and anyobviously you've got normal as well inthe middle but majority the time peopleWatch at: 15:40 / 16:00are going to leave it on rich it's thedefault there you don't really need toworry about it unless you actually needto start doing any proper fuel savingthe next one is a request pitstop buttonsimply press that it will notify yourteam that you want to make a pit stop onthis lap it comes up with a pit boardover on the right hand side of the HUDthere also if you've got the raceWatch at: 16:00 / 16:19engineer turned on you as you get anaudio cue saying that the pit stop questhas been acknowledged and then your pitsyour pit crew will be there waiting foryou when you actually go into the pitstop pressing that button againwell obviously then cancel the pit stopthe request that you have just madegoing into the car management menu we'vegot an option to obviously go back tothe main page of the in-car managementWatch at: 16:19 / 16:40menu but we've also got option here toturn the stability control on and offyou can see that reflected in a Tuckermeter down in the bottom right you cansee the stability control icon isflicking on and off as we switch betweenthe two options there we then also gotthe traction control slip option whichis tied to the car car tuning optionWatch at: 16:40 / 17:00which we kind of covered in the assistslast week as well sorry I'll just bringthat back up but yeah we were able tochange this and a lower number will meanthat the traction control system willallow for less wheel slip before thetraction control system actually kicksin whereas a higher value will mean thatWatch at: 17:00 / 17:20the system will allow for more wheelslip for the traction control systemactually kicks in now this defaults tonought point nine by standard on adefault setup I'm currently running aset up that has got naught point one twoand I tend to find that with the gt3cars somewhere between the region ofWatch at: 17:20 / 17:40naught point one to two not 0.15 ispretty good for dry traction controlslip it basically allows me to get thepower down on the exit of cornerswithout it getting too squirrely andoversteer II the main issue with norpoint nine it works quite nicely therethe main issue of that is if you've gotWatch at: 17:40 / 18:00a wheelon the curb and you want to get thepower down the traction control systemwill kick in because it's detecting alot of wheel slip whether we werespinning up on the curb whereas using ahigher body such as not 0.12 it's notpoint one five will allow a bit morewheel slip and allow you to get thepower down a little bit betteron the curve before the traction controlWatch at: 18:00 / 18:20asset traction control system actuallykicks in this last bit the anti-lockbraking that's your abs strength and ahigher value will mean that the ABSsystem will kick in sooner when it'sdetecting that the wheel is starting tolock up under braking and then the lowervalue obviously means that our allow formore wheel slip for more locking beforeWatch at: 18:20 / 18:40the ABS system actually kicks in I tendto leave this at default what I tend todo is basically break a certain amountup to the threshold of where the ABSsystem is going to actually kick in ifyou brake to the point that the ABSsystem isn't kicking in and stayed justunder that threshold you'll get theWatch at: 18:40 / 19:00maximum braking performance as soon asthe ABS system kicks inobviously the braking power is reducedwhich then extends the braking distanceand obviously that isn't optimal butI'll leave that nor point seven-five youcould produce it in theory but that willmean that the tires are more likely tolock if you if you go and press harderWatch at: 19:00 / 19:20on the brakes which obviously isn'tgreat it's going to extend your brakingdistance even further but not pointseven-five it gives me that option tolean on the ABS system if I need to alittle bit but ideally I want to try andstay off it and I want to obviouslyavoid the wheels from locking barstander braking so we'll go back andWatch at: 19:20 / 19:40look at the final menu which is the racestrategy menu and this is why I tend touse the naming convention that I do formy pit strategy so at the top you cansee the current pit strategy that isactually active obviously I've got anoption there to go back but also go anoption here to actually select thestrategy and all the pit strategies thatWatch at: 19:40 / 20:00you have created will be listed here soyou can navigate up and down those andthen pressing left or right willactually activate that strategy whichmeans that in a brace way you've gotmultiple or will need to make multiplepit stops youcreate a whole bunch of strategies andthen once you've done your first pitstop you can go right the second pitWatch at: 20:00 / 20:20stop by one this I want my hard tiresand I'm on fifty five liters of fuel andask me set for the race and you canbasically fit between those and if yougo back you can see that your currentstrategy is also changed there as wellso that's why I use that namingconvention so I can see a very quickglance what pit strategy is that I wantWatch at: 20:20 / 20:40to select for my next pit stop and it'salso pretty good in such a scenariowhere I don't know what the weather isgoing to be later on perhaps someone I'min an habla online Lobby and someone'sgone and put a random weather slot insomewhere along the line so it couldpossibly go to wet and I've gotobviously got the wet option there itWatch at: 20:40 / 21:00could possibly go to snow so I could putin a pit strategy that would change ontothe ice ties and I've got myself coveredessentially so obviously changing thaton the fly very very useful what is alsovery very useful is actually adjustingthat pit strategy itself and this optionwill allow you to adjust the strategyWatch at: 21:00 / 21:20that you currently have selected sogoing into there if I Sun decideactually I don't want hard stick tyresI want soft stick tires I can do thatalso with the adding the amount of fuelthat you want to add in on the next pitstop you can change that as well hereand you need to press down or up toWatch at: 21:20 / 21:40change how much fuel that you would liketo add into the car in the next pit stopand also same with repair as well you'vegot an option here this is a bit more ofa blanket option rather than choosingthe individual suspension brakecomponents where you want to do thegearbox and stuff it's kind of moreblanket I want to repair all damage onWatch at: 21:40 / 22:00the car I want to prepare only nomechanical damage on the car which willcover the suspension will cover thebrakes and also cover the engine andgearbox I only want to repair theaerodynamic aerodynamic damage on thecar which is this arrow option here soobviously that's the front and rear Aerodamage it won't do any of the mechanicaloptions and then I quickly go back intoWatch at: 22:00 / 22:20that againI can choose to not prepare to damage atall so if I've obviously got thisstrategy currently selected well I didoriginally intend and change into hardtires taking a full tank of fuel andthen wanting to do a full repair on thecar and I suddenly decide that I take aWatch at: 22:20 / 22:40little bit of damage but it's not enoughto really affect the car and slow itdown too drastically on a per lap basisI can say actually I don't want torepair any of the damage on the car atall I'll just turn that off so veryquick very useful feature here forquickly adjusting your strategy whilstyou're driving around on circuit andWatch at: 22:40 / 23:00then finally you've got a swap driveroption there which will allow you tochange to an AI driver in your pit stopwhich is obviously very very useful ifyou're aiming to do like a full LeMond24 hours that you can possibly do in thecareer race you can do a couple ofstints and then you can say I want to gofor a break to have some have some foodWatch at: 23:00 / 23:20go to the toilet relieve yourself andget a cup of tea you can switch the swapdriver option on and then the AI willtake over in the pit stop and thenwhilst the pit whilst the AI is drivingout around when you're ready you cancall them back into the pits with therequest pitstop option here they'll comein providing you've got the swap driverWatch at: 23:20 / 23:40option on you'll take over control againwhen you go back out onto the track aswell so there's a fantastic piece of kitthat is extremely useful when drivingaround the circuit so obviously I canfiddle with things fast driving aroundthe track and I can leave it and it'llWatch at: 23:40 / 24:00close when I want it to after fiveseconds of non interaction there it goes[Music]and then yeah it's very very useful formaking those adjustments on the flywhilst driving around the circuit andnot having to worry about having toWatch at: 24:00 / 24:20pause the game or thinking oh bugger Ihaven't set up any pitch strategies forthe actual race that I'm in as if youhaven't set up any pitch strategies youcan just open up the default pitchstrategy so if I quickly do that nowI'll go to the default one I'll sayabout a couple of corners so I need toactually focus on driving through thoseWatch at: 24:20 / 24:40but I'm just going to press down thereto make sure that the ICM menu staysopen and then now that I've got a bit ofa straight I can go into the adjuststrategy option here I can say I needsoft slicks I need five litres of fuelin the next pit stop and continue ondriving and then when actually make theWatch at: 24:40 / 25:00pit stop it will carry out those actionsfor you with whichever current strategyyou have active so hopefully that'sgoing to be a very useful tool for a lotof you drivers playing project cars toobviously where it's on d-pad it meansthat all those functions are confined toWatch at: 25:00 / 25:20that d-pad which then also does free upan awful lot of options as well such asthe request pitstop button and alsoadjusting the brake bias obviously youdon't need buttons to change those asyou can do them here in the ICM so it'sbasically it frees up a whole bunch ofWatch at: 25:20 / 25:40options for you and allows you toutilize more buttons on your on yourwheel on your controller and free themup for other controls that you may wishor desire to use so that's going toconclude it for this episode hopefullyWatch at: 25:40 / 26:00you guys learned a fair amount on boththe pitch strategies and also the ICMmenu and hopefully you'll be making gooduse of both of those throughout yourtime playing project cars to next weekwe're going to be covering the fullpitstop process of how to do a pitstopboth under AI control and also undermanual control andWatch at: 26:00 / 26:20basically how things are carried outthere and a little bit of rules andregulations in and around the pit stopsbut yeah that's good about that's goodbe about it for this episode hopefullyyou guys enjoyed thank you very much forwatching and I shall see you soon takecarehey guys is your kid with a projectWatch at: 26:20 / 26:40cause - video where today we're going tobe taking a look at the first assists inthe game now the majority of these canbe found in the options tab are acentral under the gameplay options[Music]

  1. Anybody notice calling for a pit stop is broken? I have a button set up for it on one of my DSD button boxes.

Sometimes I push the button and I get a response from the Pit. Other times I can call for it and I get no response.

Sometimes I can call for it, get no response. Then go into the ICM and call for it and it works.

Sometimes I call for it, get no response. Go into the ICM and see the option to cancel pitstop.

Sometimes I’ll call for it by pushing the button, get no response. Then go into the ICM and it still won’t let me call for it.

The other day, I called for it with the button box. Got no response. Went into the ICM and tried calling for it.

That didn’t work so I decided I’d just drive into the pit and sure enough there was my crew waiting to service my car.

I tried this a couple times when I’d get no response from the Pit and it was totally random if the crew would be waiting for me.

I have two DSD button boxes attached to my CSW V2. Plus all the buttons on my wheel and a keyboard. I’ve tried mapping Pit Stop Request to a bunch of different buttons but I get the same results every time.

This happens during practice and the race. Is it broken or am I missing some kind of rule here? Like Pits closed rule. If that were the case. Wouldn’t I get a call back from the pits saying the pits are closed?

The fact that the crew can be out there waiting for me when I never received permission to pit makes me think it’s broken. When it works I get acknowledged and the pit board on screen. So…..

  2. On the note of the weather, do we have a Random weather (excluding snow) option?
Which would give us the chance for changeable realistic conditions.

Snow racing is fun…..but for the most part not that realistic. 😉

It's fun to end a GM stream on that, even though I spun right out of the box….remember guys no tire temps and little pressure! 😉

  3. Good video, it would have been nice if they had provided more details on how to access these features on game. As usual they think everybody knows how to set up their games from scratch. We don't!!

  4. Loving Pc2 so far. Although I do wish you could have more players in online races for consoles. 32 players probably isn't doable as in PC, but I feel like 16 is a bit too small, especially for multiclass races.

GT sport has 24 players, and I feel like that's kind of the sweet spot for online.

  5. Speaking about ABS and Traction Control in the ICM Menu. It seems to be not possible to change the settings fastly. When I want to set the TC from 0,09 to 0,70 I have to hit the UP button 61 times, because holding it down is not recognized.
This can take a lot of time and concentration away from the actual racing. Or is there a better way to change this? thanks for the video 🙂

  6. On my PS4 I can't even save strategies which is really annoying cause I always have to adjust it in the race and often lose some tenths (or even seconds) cause I have to adjust the strategy

  7. How do I report players that are kicking everyone on the last lap,? I have it recorded . This has to be stopped immediately people are losing 50 points in one hit from trolls how's this possible did anyone think of this when making the game.

  8. Why does this not work on XBOX one what am I doing wrong? Any ideas? Going to reset my controller assignments and se if that helps as the ICM never came up and still doesn't. Great cli really useful otherrwise

  9. Got it to work to a point, it never changes my tyres??? I have done everything right but the tyres just don't change. Something is so wrong with this game. Sick of the problems. We don't even get an apology

  10. The way pit strategy is USELESS:

You dont know before a 1 hour race if you need to fix gearbox engine or aero….

BUT you still have to set a side time to fix. And when you pit the game takes 700+ seconds to fix suspension engine gearbox even though you dont need to. And you loose the race!

  11. Glad I found ur vids there is invaluable info in these for a newb to pc2. I've figured out quite a lot myself reading the info in game but it's nice to have a concise explanation.

  12. I know I'm a bit late to comment and hope this gets answered but when switching to AI driver in long endurance races, will the driver pit on his own or do you have to request a stop?

  13. Try to adjust a strategy while driving Indycar (much faster car than you use) and see how successful your race are.
It is near to impossible as you lose concentration, which changing something in the ICM. Need to have an option to pause the game or audio communication with my engineers/mechanics.

  14. Little note: When adjusting your fuel intake in the ICM the the writing will be red if your current selection will not get you to the end of the race. If you keep adding liters it will then turn to white lettering once you added enough fuel to get you to the end of the race. For very long races it might stay red as even a full tank of fuel won't get you to the end and you'll have to stop an extra time. The game predicts how much fuel you'll need by taking the average per lap consumption you've been getting. So add extra if you've been taking it easy or are driving in the wet on a drying track as your consumption will by higher once you can push on a dry track.
( Not taking any credit for this, learned it myself from watching a Yorkie endurance race ;))

  15. My pit strategy isn’t becoming active in pit lane. I click it and the check goes next to it but if I wanted tire compound to change, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

  16. Do you have any graphic mod active?
when i play on the nurburgring GP, i dont have those "hills" in the background very far away. My background is just blue sky…

  17. Thnx for the tutorials. I’m playing PC2 for a couple of days now and i love it. But i struggle a lot with the setups. Is it normal for players to set the abs and tc on authentic? Keep up the good work! Subbed and going through your tutorials richt now!

  18. is there an option to resize the menu or font? i cant read that small and focus on track, f1 games got an black menu with bigger font, ez to read for example.

  19. These guides are a treasure for a very underrated sim in the community. And for the underrated part I guess because not everybody has a decent PC to run on this masterpiece 🙂

  20. I found that after I had pitted and changed tyres (softs to softs) my rear tyres where at 31psi and my front tyres at 24psi but in the pit stop strategy fronts were set to 1.39 bar and rear 1.36 psi I tryed this 3 times and same result on tyre pressures rear was always higher than fronts
