welcome to crystal chronicles
final fantasy crystal chronicles of
course it launches this week and uh for
those of you guys that have been waiting
for this i've been waiting for quite
some time i feel like when they first
announced it
we're just sort of sitting waiting for
that kind of ever looming release date
and
it's kind of dropped to a good time it's
dropped before you know
the plethora of games that are launching
later on this year so we actually get a
chance to sit down
and enjoy it of course this is the
remaster the original version released
way back
in 2003 if you're in japan and 2004 for
us
over in the west and of course now we
have a remaster which is coming to
nintendo switch and playstation 4. so of
course you want to jump in and play that
in cop then
now is your chance to do so honestly i
uh i actually missed this when it first
came out back in the day i had a
gamecube and whatnot but
it's actually one of those games that i
just completely missed for no
real good reason so i'm actually really
looking forward to the chance to kind of
jump back in but today in this video i'm
just giving you guys a chance to watch
some gameplay
from the very beginning of the game so
just kind of set the scene and so i'll
give you a look at
this new remaster so if you guys do

I am very disappointed about the multiplayer. It took them so long to get this out and they still couldn't decide on a simple way to multiplayer 9_9
I know it's because it's based off cross-platform and multilayer, but it's sad traveling together in town and not receiving letters from our families. So you need to make sure if you're playing with 4 players or Whatever, that you ALL complete the dungeon on your files. That way you advance to the next town together so you can upgrade and buy. Something to keep noted guys

dude i named my town the same as the city state of Ishgard lol also played this back in the day too but sadly they should have both the local co-op and online mode
The only problem with this game was multiplayer forces one of you to carry the chalice instead of giving you a fluffy boi.
I thought it was going to be multiplayer gameplay but it’s just another solo.
Just played remastered version I am kinda pissed off no couch co-op why take out the best part of the game

Hi, Myself and 3 friends played for the first time yesterday via switch. I had a couple questions for anyone. So is it possible to enter cities with a party or does everyone have to craft weapons and such on their own? I understand only the host saves his progress but does that also mean my friends characters will start with nothing next time we play? Thanks

I get the nostalgia for this. I really want to replay it too. But Square has to learn a lesson here. No local coop, broken online coop, no disc release, 50+ eur of dlc day one… Cant find a better way to say to FF fans "fu** you !". DON'T BUY THIS !!
Honestly they made multiplayer wonky but I love going back and helping people since I'm already in full mythral gear 🙂 yuke is where it's at! Also that they made playing multiple races and filling your town easier is nice

Leider ein richtig schlechtes Remake. Ein Spiel das damals hauptsächlich als Multiplayerspiel rausgebracht wurde und jetzt gibts keinen richtigen Multiplayer mehr und auch überhaupt keinen lokalen Multiplayer mehr.
"Jeder der sich die Demo holt kann ohne Probleme mitspielen." Ernsthaft? Wo soll ich da anfangen? Zuerstmal erlaubt der Google Play Store das downloaden der App auf kaum einem Smartphone meiner Freunde, auch nicht auf meinem eigenen, wohlbemerkt nagelneuen Smartphone. Dann muss man seine Freunde hinzufügen, auch wenn man diese bereits auf der Switch hinzugefügt hatte. Dann muss man eine Lobby erstellen wobei man die Wahl zwischen einer offenen Lobby und "Nur Freunde" hat. Will man nun nur mit seinen Freunden spielen, kann man diese nun zur Lobby einladen. Diese Einladungen kommen aber nie an (zumindest hat das so bei meinen Freunden und mir nie geklappt). Meine Freunde mussten also die Lobby suchen und so beitreten. Nach langer Ladezeit ist man dann irgendwann im gewählten Dungeon (es kann nämlich immer nur ein Dungeon pro Lobby gespielt werden, also keine schöne gemeinsame Karawanenerfahrung mehr, kein gemeinsamer Aufbau des Anfangsdorfes, kein gemeinsamer Besuch der Städte, kein Handeln, kein Nutzen der Berufe der Freunde etc. etc.) Leider funktioniert aber auch die "Nur Freunde" Lobby nicht, denn nach kurzer Zeit treten Fremde der Lobby bei die ich eigentlich als "Nur Freunde" Lobby gründete. Oft sind das dann Spieler die bereits viel zu stark ausgerüstet sind und den Boss mit ein bis zwei Schlägen niederstrecken. Danach muss dann die Gruppe aufgelöst werden und man muss die ganze Prozedur für den nächsten Dungeon wiederholen. Im Endeffekt verbringt man ungefähr genau so viel Zeit damit die Gruppe zu gründen wie mit dem eigentlichen Spiel.
Ich verstehe nicht wie man ein solches Remake ernsthaft empfehlen kann. Für so viel Geld gibt es heutzutage viele wesentlich bessere Spiele. Gut wer zu viel Geld UND zu viel Zeit hat und keine Lust hat sich einen Emulator herunter zu laden um das richtige (vollwertige) Spiel von damals zu spielen kann es sich kaufen. Aber dann sollte man das Geld doch lieber spenden.

I played this game on the family version of the Wii whith the sp and my brothers
One of my favorite games as a teen. Was never able to beat it or had the chance to play co-op.
Okay. Never played this one so I don't have that nostalgia bug. That said, based on the comments and this video, you guys convinced me.
No local CO-OP? They really fucked up this remaster. This game was meant to be played with multiple people. Who is carrying the jar, who gets MVP? All of these social interactions are gone. Now it feels like playing a board game solo.

I had this game back in 2004 when I was 12 and I remember how much fun I had with his game I was super pumped for the remaster but I'm a little disappointed that all they did was ported to the PS4 switch and mobile not mad with it but I'm just disappointed I could have been a whole lot more added to the game
