As a cat owner of many years i can only give advice from personal experience but if you leave the cats nails alone they scratch less things in the house…everytime the claws get clipped the cats go crazy trying to re-sharpen /reshape them.
How to groom a cat… so now we all watched your videos do we get a certificate or diploma or something?

Thank you for sharing this video. I have a diabetic, arthritic cat that is well-behaved when around me and when I bathe her but not around strangers. I recently got her bathed by a groomer and they did a really poor job as her coat was still VERY dirty. It cost me $40 and I tipped on top of that of course even though I wasn't happy with the outcome. I won't have the income or time to pay for that often because I'm about to be in a really intense accelerated nursing program. I'm also a licensed, experienced hair stylist and have been hesitant to cut her hair because I understand it's pretty different especially bc of the hair texture and density. I'm going to get a pet blade and try to do this- CAREFULLY and slowly. She's not cleaning herself anymore and I want her to be clean and healthy. Thank you so much for sharing this. I feel confident that I can do this well enough to get the job done from watching this. 🙂

This groomer is very annoying. She is NOT doing what the pet owners want, instead she's trying to talk them into doing what SHE wants and trying to make them feel guilty about it.
Overall she seems to know what she's doing but has bad customer service skills while doing it.
Is there a clipper with a midrange pricetag? I only clip my own cat, which takes forever because I have cheap clippers, take multiple passes to get it short enough. And I'm trying to hold him down myself and clip at the same time which means multiple breaks…so it's a 2 day process lol. BUT I can't afford or even justify saving up for the Andis clippers. But there are hundreds of others to choose from, I don't know what to choose. Can you suggest any?
