How To Groom Your Pomeranian At Home

to groom your Pomeranian at home sodon't be intimidated because I'm gonna
show you and walk you through all thesteps and to show you how simple and
easy it actually is so this is my dogEmma and as you can see her hair is kind
of grown out and I just want to makeher look neat and tidy but it also makes her
look so much cuter so I'm not aWatch at: 00:20 / 00:40professional groomer but I've been doing
this since I got her and she's 2 yearsold now and it definitely wasn't easy
the first time but just keep practicingand trying and you'll get so much better
so the first step what we're gonna do isgive her a bath so I'll show you guys
all the products that I'm using and linkWatch at: 00:40 / 01:00them in the description box and
subscribe for more videos thank you okso now we're in the bath and as you can
see I was not a super fan of baths she'sshaking a bit but it's ok we'll just try
to do it quick so here's some productsthat I use I just try to keep it simple
and use this shampoo and conditioner andWatch at: 01:00 / 01:20I like these because they're natural and
they don't have a bunch of ingredientsthat can hurt your dogWatch at: 01:20 / 01:40okay so now we're done with our bath and
we gotta get her dry it out so this isdefinitely my least favorite part but
it's also the most important because youWatch at: 01:40 / 02:00need her hair to be fully dried before
you can start cutting it so I just usemy hair dryer and then really important
to brush at the same time so you caneither have somebody hold the dryer
while you brush or dry and then brushand just keep cycling out like that okay
so I'm gonna mute and fast-forward thisWatch at: 02:00 / 02:20part because it takes a long timeso brushing it in-between blow-drying
actually helps it dry faster and alsoWatch at: 02:20 / 02:40make sure that the hair doesn't get
tangled but one thing that I notice isthat it takes out a bunch of her dead
hair which is really goodso as you can see Emma is pretty used to
getting groomed but if you're justgrooming your dog for the first time at
home you might want to take it slow andWatch at: 02:40 / 03:00just you know introduce like one thing
at a timeWatch at: 03:00 / 03:20okay so we're finally done and she
already looks so much better and she'sso soft and fluffy so let me show you
the next steps okay so when you'restarting to groom I just put down this
like puppy pee pads that are used toWatch at: 03:20 / 03:40collect the hair so that when you cut it
it all falls on here and then you caneasily just wrap it up and throw it away
so the first thing that I'm going to dois trim her nails so here's all the
supplies that I have so I have the brushI have this little second men's facial
groomer this is optional I can show youWatch at: 03:40 / 04:00with without and then the nail clippers
I just use these that like have thislittle sling you just put the nail in
between any clip and then I have thisgrooming kit that I bought from Amazon
but really I would say that I only usethe large curved scissors and the comb
so if you want to just invest in thoseWatch at: 04:00 / 04:20too that would be a good option too okay
so first thing I'm going to do is trimher nails so this I do very carefully
and slowly because I do not want to makeher bleed okay so you just pick her foot
up carefully and just pull the hair backWatch at: 04:20 / 04:40and then look for the pink part you want
to cut underneath thatyouWatch at: 04:40 / 05:00so it's better to cut away a little bit
at a time just if you're unsureWatch at: 05:00 / 05:20and don't forget the dewclaw it's up
here a bit it's separate from the clawsat the bottom it's a very tiny one you
have to pull back the hair to find itWatch at: 05:20 / 05:40okay we're all done with the nails so
I'm gonna start with trimming the footfirst so with the foot and basically
with the whole grooming process I liketo have a very round appearance so with
the foot there's like a lot of strayWatch at: 05:40 / 06:00hairs come up there's a lot of stray
hairs and I wanted to be like a neatlittle pot so I'm going to show you here
is the before and if you start groomingfrom the bottom it actually takes off a
lot of the work and you can see the feetWatch at: 06:00 / 06:20so you don't really cut them so I just
do on the side one cut and then as closeto the nail without having it show so I
just put my scissors kind of up until Ifeel the nail and then back off just a
little bit and do a straight cut and soWatch at: 06:20 / 06:40then you can see if any hairs are like
showing outside of where you made thosecuts and you can just trim them so now I
made one on one side of the pot I madeone across the front and now I'm doing
it on the other side so actually I'mWatch at: 06:40 / 07:00going to bring you guys in just to show
you a bit closer on the other foot okayso now I'm going to try to show you a
bit closer on this foot what I didWatch at: 07:00 / 07:20because there's four paws so you gotta
really practice on this angle is betteralright so try to get it on where you
can see underneath I'm actuallyfrom this side okay so I'm holding her
foot kind of gently just here and thenWatch at: 07:20 / 07:40cut this side snip and then on the
bottomWatch at: 07:40 / 08:00so you can also just flip it back to the
other side from the top and get anyWatch at: 08:00 / 08:20stray hairsyouWatch at: 08:20 / 08:40it's a little hard to show you so I hope
you guys understand buying myexplanations okay so this pot is done
and if they see any straight hairs we'reWatch at: 08:40 / 09:00just going clip-on that's all looks
pretty good alright so I'll do the backside nowyouWatch at: 09:00 / 09:20so I don't know if you can see this but
this hair is pretty long so I'm justgonna snip it so it's all like one it's
just like a round little tube legs Ithink so it's just around with hair and
there's no like hairs sticking up likethat I just wanted to be all kind of one
length all the way aroundWatch at: 09:20 / 09:40youWatch at: 09:40 / 10:00see how this hair is sticking out right
here I'm just gonna trim that off it'sWatch at: 10:00 / 10:20all one length and just see how quickly
that like smooth appearance shows solike just you don't want to try not to
much just very little and already itWatch at: 10:20 / 10:40looks so much betterokay so there's not really any
particular order that I trim her in by Iusually do the de nails and then the
feet first and I guess now I'll startwith the bum which does take a little
bit of time but it needs the mostWatch at: 10:40 / 11:00attentionmake sure it's brushed off all the way
before cutting that way you can see allthe hair that needs to be trimmedWatch at: 11:00 / 11:20under here all those hair needs to be
brushed really goodokay so I try to groom her in the way
that her hair falls naturally so I justWatch at: 11:20 / 11:40brush it that way so no she's nice and
smooth but you can see that there's likeyou know just like these stray hairs so
I like to make her have like a bubbleWatch at: 11:40 / 12:00nice like round shape of course cuz
we're going for the round look so let'ssee just kind of make sure it's nice and
calm as well and I just kind of eyeballit but let's see and just cut it in like
a round shape there we go and then seeWatch at: 12:00 / 12:20that's hereand then all I do is just like refine it
so make sure you get everythingWatch at: 12:20 / 12:40underneath and around so basically
anything that's sticking out so youmight have to look from different angles
so I want it to be round this way butWatch at: 12:40 / 13:00also round this this way so from here
I'm going to cut it like this and getall those hairs sticking straight outWatch at: 13:00 / 13:20and see how I'm just kind of trimming
the surface because you can always trimoff more but you can't take it backtrim brush trim brushWatch at: 13:20 / 13:40so I have seen a lot of people do it
their own way but I think I like it thisway because it looks like a nice little
skirt or like pants then I like to go upWatch at: 13:40 / 14:00and down like this and get the hairs to
blend in with the legWatch at: 14:00 / 14:20so see all this hair she really doesn't
need it when you brush it off you cansee him so I'm just going to trim that
offWatch at: 14:20 / 14:40just keep working out until you get the
result that you like and make sure youcheck underneathWatch at: 14:40 / 15:00youall I'm doing right now is just blending
with the legWatch at: 15:00 / 15:20I wanted to look super smoothso every time I brought some new hair
show so that's why it's so important tobrushWatch at: 15:20 / 15:40youWow so here is the finally so I think
I'm happy with that you can keep goingWatch at: 15:40 / 16:00do as much as you like but I think
that's fineI might clean I might go back and
recheck my work at the end but for now Ithink that's funny
okay we'll go from this side next so onWatch at: 16:00 / 16:19the side you can't really see her shape
so we're going to go back to the PAS andI want to just kind of make a straight
cut with the footWatch at: 16:19 / 16:40okay wow that looks so much better so
even that makes a huge difference butWatch at: 16:40 / 17:00I'm just gonna go and kind of clean it
up make sure it's nice and round hereWatch at: 17:00 / 17:20too just that all the hair is the samekind of we want it to look like it grew
that way so very natural cuts check fromboth sides check from the inside in the
outside okay to the other sideWatch at: 17:20 / 17:40so much betterWatch at: 17:40 / 18:00youWatch at: 18:00 / 18:20okay so let's look now what we have I
must state so I'm just going to brush itdown that's the way at least naturallyWatch at: 18:20 / 18:40it's good to use a comb sometimes
because that way you can feel any knotsthat you might have missed with the
brushoh my goodness so cute okay so I'm still
seeing some hairs here but I want toWatch at: 18:40 / 19:00clean up see how this these so I don't
know if you can tell from that side butthey do stick out a bit from this viewjust make sure you're looking from all
the angles to get any hairs that youWatch at: 19:00 / 19:20might have missedso now what I want to do is round out
this space right here I want to do thiswithout cutting so cutting as little
hair as possible so she has this pieceof hair sticking out so that's gonna go
and then seeWatch at: 19:20 / 19:40all right hereI'm just gonna kind of round it outWatch at: 19:40 / 20:00youso don't forget about the insight -
that's why I'm kind of sticking myscissors in and getting that partWatch at: 20:00 / 20:20youand guys if you make any mistakes don't
freak out so my hair will come back IWatch at: 20:20 / 20:40never learned that and it's okayno I think that looks pretty good see
maybe a few more right there all rightlet's move on to the front so the front
she has this beautiful bib that we'reWatch at: 20:40 / 21:00gonna clean up and then we'll do the
ears just start by brushing it outcombing see it's getting some knots out
all the hair all the way from the bottomand make sure you go all the way to the
skin because their hair is very long andWatch at: 21:00 / 21:20you want to get both layersso for this it already you kind of want
to UM go buy the dogs natural shape soWatch at: 21:20 / 21:40you can already see she has a shape it's
nice and browned huh okay so the shapeis round and I'm just gonna follow the
natural curve and clean it up make sureit's smooth so just get any hair
sticking out of that curve go all theWatch at: 21:40 / 22:00way up and make sure you go you look
underneath so you kind of want to liftWatch at: 22:00 / 22:20the head and you can see all that hair
and just smooth it outWatch at: 22:20 / 22:40so I know some people like to brush it
up and groom it that way but I brush itdown because that's the way is when
she's just around the houseand I'm going put them down like this to
blend it in with the bottom partWatch at: 22:40 / 23:00so now that I'm looking at her from the
front I can see that there are someWatch at: 23:00 / 23:20hairs sticking out here in the back I'm
just gonna clip those offWatch at: 23:20 / 23:40youWatch at: 23:40 / 24:00okay you don't need to cut much off
there all right now let's do the ears sowith the ears I grab it like this and
you have to be super careful but see allthese hairs sticking out I'm just going
to clip those off and make the ear roundWatch at: 24:00 / 24:20so I what I like to do is grab the ear
put my thumb nail at the tip of wherethe ear cartilage ends so I feel it
right there so I'll know that I'm notWatch at: 24:20 / 24:40going to cut underneath there so I'm
just gonna get all those hairs aroundokay so see now shows these cute little
round ears and then I'm going to justkind of grab this piece of hair like all
this hair and I'm following that sameWatch at: 24:40 / 25:00shapeso see these hairs these are the extraWatch at: 25:00 / 25:20so you want it around this way round
this way and round this way everydirection you want it to be round kind
of like a little ballso now I'm getting behind the ear so
what I do is kind of just hold it inWatch at: 25:20 / 25:40front and then just get all these hairs
right behind itso that behind her ear is smoothWatch at: 25:40 / 26:00youWatch at: 26:00 / 26:20now last but not least I will trim her
tail and backside so with this I'm justWatch at: 26:20 / 26:40gonna do it super carefully and trim the
hairs around the anus just be superWatch at: 26:40 / 27:00super careful I don't even use my
trimmers for this I only use scissorsbecause that's how careful I need to beWatch at: 27:00 / 27:20the tail and I just do a straight cutWatch at: 27:20 / 27:40and that's good enough okay now you can
stop there or if you want you can go andtake so there's like some random long
hairs here you can just kind of trimWatch at: 27:40 / 28:00those off to the top and size they're
called the guard hairs or power endsjust so everything looks super smoothWatch at: 28:00 / 28:20so I'm all done with grooming Emma and I
think she looks great it might not beWatch at: 28:20 / 28:40perfect but I'm still learning and
improving every single time I doWatch at: 28:40 / 29:00encourage you guys to try this on your

how much is 1 female pomeranian? I am training my 2 pitbull males and I want their testosterone level being high.(I am doing them military training).in any way as I said I want my dogs have high testosterone so I want them to fuck at least twice a week and I don't want I big dog female because they can get also aggressive and can hurt each other so I want to buy a small female dog something like pomeranian so that my big male dogs can fuck her and she can`t do nothing about it. and if she doesn't let them my big doggos will just beat her up and she is going to be forced to open her legs. so yeah
