Watch at: 00:00 / 00:00:20what's up lords and ladies welcome backto another video on this channel so intoday's videoi wanted to dedicate this video to atleastanswer a couple questions or a questionon instagram so i've been getting a lotof messagesum you know it is at least 20 messages aWatch at: 00:20 / 00:40day if nota couple hundred um really all dependson how active iam but what i've been getting is a lotof questions that are basically almostthe same which in mypart you know i love helping people ilove working with animals and i'm reallygrateful to be in the position that i'minto help others um with you know just theknowledge that i've been gatheringWatch at: 00:40 / 01:00around um throughout the years ofkeeping reptiles howeveruh you know there's only one of me andwhenever i'm notcleaning my reptiles or doing thesetypes of videosuh you know sometimes i'm answeringquestionsbut there's times where i just can't beon my phone and i need to basicallyfeed my reptiles clean my reptiles makeWatch at: 01:00 / 01:20these videosso time is really tight but i figured ifi scheduled at leastonce a week to just answer as muchquestions as i canor answer one question that way if thereisa repetitive or a question that repeatsitselfi could just link them this video andhelp them outum accordingly so what i'm going to beWatch at: 01:20 / 01:40doing is like i saidonce a week i'm going to answer somequestions so if you have a question putin the comment sectiondown below or follow me on instagram atunderscore lord of lion and i'm gonnabasically be answering your questionsvideo form so um you know before youask me a question put the word help inWatch at: 01:40 / 02:00big exclamationum you know maybe put a couple dinosaursi don't knowbut put big word help and a dinosauremojithat way i know that you guys want me toanswer your questionsum you know in a video form and ifyou've asked me a question in the pastdo the exact same thingjust spam me with the word help and aWatch at: 02:00 / 02:20dinosaur emojithat way i know okay uh this questionneeds to be answered in a video formand i will get to it so i might be doinga couple questions like i saidor i might just do one simple questiondedicated to the video so enough of metalkingWatch at: 02:20 / 02:40let's just get started with this videolet'sgo but before we gooh man there's been a few people beinglike lord of lionyou haven't been doing the zoom ins likethose were my favorite things to doyou already know what time it is wegotta zoomin baby rest in peace bb but you my babyWatch at: 02:40 / 03:00girl right therei just wanted to dedicate this time alsofor my future wife i still got the curlsfor the girlsand you know i've been feeling myselflatelyman i had to bring them back you know ii haven't been doing them for a goodwhile i had to bring them backWatch at: 03:00 / 03:20okay so this question is by poppypay hopefully i'm saying your name rightand hopefullythis video helps on time i am going torespond to this questionafterwards but i really wanted to putout this video because it does seem likea good question that could help manyso this question goes hello i usuallyWatch at: 03:20 / 03:40watch your channel andothers for bearded dragon advice howevermy girl bella rosewhich by the way bella rose that's areally nice name like that's catchybella rose i like it bella rose ispregnantshe should be laying her eggs this weeki've taken her to the vet for a checkupbut i need advice for the setup of herWatch at: 03:40 / 04:00eggswhich by the way good job on taking herto the vetyou know sometimes we overlook you knowthe whole pregnancy and we think we haveeverything under controlwhich most of the times everything goessmoothly but sometimes with beardeddragons there's complications that goum that happen sometimes they don't uhyou knowgive birth to all of the eggs and someWatch at: 04:00 / 04:20eggs are stuck inside and they get eggboundand that causes more complications soyou definitely want to make sure thatyou'rekeeping an eye if you notice anythingweird happening definitely consult witha veti have a still air incubator andeverything else i believei'll need but i'm not sure how to set itWatch at: 04:20 / 04:40up and what temperaturesto keep the eggs or how much water theywill needto keep the humidity level and i alsowanted to knowif the forced air fan is neededi usually google or youtube all thingsto know but i haven'tcame across a step-by-step video on howto maintain itWatch at: 04:40 / 05:00for bearded dragons please respondsometime this weekif possible thanks so hopefullyi'll respond to this question uh rightafter this videobut you know hopefully everything isgoing well throughout the pregnancy andthe vet said that she's okaybut when it comes to incubating beardeddragoneggs now this is something that everyWatch at: 05:00 / 05:20breeder does differentlyeach incubator might be a little bitdifferent as wellso you know whatever i do works for whati'm doingbut sometimes you have to go and kind ofimprovise with what you've got so whenit comes to the wholeforced air fan i'm assuming you're goingWatch at: 05:20 / 05:40about the faninside of the incubator um you know ihighly recommend that you do use onesometimes you could get away with justusing a cheapcomputer desk fan that you could placesomewhere inside of the incubator withthe wire sticking out through either aholeum you know you do say that you have anincubatoryou could get away with you know withoutWatch at: 05:40 / 06:00a fan but basically the whole fanis to uh circulate the heat inside thatway it's not just in one areabut i in the past i have had uhyou know an incubator with no fan and ithasno issue but i find that the more eggsand the moreWatch at: 06:00 / 06:20clutches you have in the incubator themore important it is for the fan to becirculating the air insideand just overall it's best to have it soif you canget it i'm assuming that's what you meanby it if not just respond back to me andyou knowuh we'll figure things out but i'm gonnago ahead and show you what i do toincubate my eggs even though i don'tWatch at: 06:20 / 06:40have any eggs right now but i'll stillshow you um and that way your you canhave a successful clutch and everythingcould go well solet's go and do that okay so step numberoneget yourself an incubator now this is anincubator that i builtmyself all i really did was get an oldwine fridge as you could seeWatch at: 06:40 / 07:00it even has a dent this is an old winefridge that no longer worksand i gutted it out and i basically putheat tape at the back and i drilled ahole at the back over here about thisbigand i wired in everything through thereso the heat tape runs from back thereall the way downnow the heat tape is controlled by aWatch at: 07:00 / 07:20thermostatthat is basically up here um thethermostatis highly needed because if notthe heat tape is just going to run onfull max and it's basically going tocook your eggs so depending on yourincubator you're going to have todeterminewhat is the right temperature so beforeWatch at: 07:20 / 07:40the eggs are laidyou really want to make sure that youhave the probe in there from thethermostat as well as that you'rechecking the temperatureswith a temperature gun that wayeverything goes smoothlynow luckily i've owned this umincubator for quite some time so i knowevery single corner andi know what i need to do to make sureWatch at: 07:40 / 08:00that i have a successfulum you know eggs so as you could seeinside i actually have some ball pythoneggs i havethree clutches in the incubator andthere is somecondensation on them so that issomething that i'm gonna go in there andcleanbut it's mostly because ball pythons andWatch at: 08:00 / 08:20bearded dragons are completely differentwhen it comes to incubating themso right now i don't have any other uhspecies that are laying eggs just ballpythonsbut with what i have here i'm basicallygoing to show you guyswhat i do with bearded dragons becauseit's very simple and it's very similarto any other reptileWatch at: 08:20 / 08:40except the temperatures and maybe howmuch water you put in the vermiculite sothis is step number one get yourself anincubator you could get incubatorsum sometimes you could find them alreadybuilt on craigslist or on kijijior you could sometimes even purchasethem already builtuh you know i believe exoterra has one iWatch at: 08:40 / 09:00believe zoo med also has oneif not if you're really handy you couldtry to build one it's super easy i thinkii paid about fifty dollars just for thisi already had the thermostat and theheat tape soit really only cost me 50 on my end topurchase thethe actual fridge but the thermostat i'mWatch at: 09:00 / 09:20usingi believe it's 150 could be a little bitmoreso it could run you quite a bit howeverif youare planning on um building your ownincubator there ischeaper thermostats out there that youcould useum i'll link in the description downWatch at: 09:20 / 09:40belowmaybe a thermostat that you could findthat is cheap that you could useon amazon but this is basically my setupso once you have an incubator the nextsteps are barely easyall right so once you got yourself anincubator andeverything is running and it's all setupthe next steps are fairly easy so what iWatch at: 09:40 / 10:00got hereis vermiculite inside of a containernow this is a container that you couldpurchase either at the dollar store umor somewhere where there's you knowcooking goods and everythingbut you really want to make sure thatyou want to get yourself a containerthat sealsproperly so you can see this thing isWatch at: 10:00 / 10:20nicely sealed it's almostairtight now you could get away and usecontainers like this as well so this isa shoe boxthis is what i use to incubate my ballpython eggs as the ball pythoneggs are a lot bigger as you can seethis is more shallowso the little tiny bearded dragon eggsare a little bit betterWatch at: 10:20 / 10:40but what i don't really like about thisis thatum you know it's not air tight now youcould go ahead and put some saran wrapon itum and that would do the trick but ifind that this is a little bit too bigfor ityou can also get away with using smallercontainers depending on your incubatorsizebut the whole important thing about itis that you want to make sure that youWatch at: 10:40 / 11:00at least havea couple inches of space from the top tothe substrate and everythingas well as the substrate you want tomake sure you're adding at least aninch for bearded dragons for ballpythons is a little bit different soi'll make a whole separate video forthat but it's pretty straightforwardfrom hereyou have the vermiculite you have yourWatch at: 11:00 / 11:20container now it's time to add the waternow before i get a bunch of questionsasking what substrate to use you coulduse other things as well like pearllightsum i believe there's other people evenusing equal earthso you know the whole purpose betweenthe substrates thatyou know you want to look for issomething that holds humidity goodWatch at: 11:20 / 11:40i find it a lot more easier just to usevermiculitethat's why i use uh this now you couldfind vermiculiteat a garden center or somewhere wherethey sell garden goodsso it's very easy to come by uh you knowi picked this upat a local hardware store i believe ipaid ten dollars for the packWatch at: 11:40 / 12:00now if you're gonna be breeding you knowa lot moreyou're going to have more eggs you couldgo to somewhere where they sell it inbulksso you want to make sure that you havethis in handall the time especially if you're goingto have eggsand like i said you could use othersubstrates but for now i'm going to beusing vermiculiteso to set this up pretty straightforwardWatch at: 12:00 / 12:20what i like to dois i like to go in there and basicallystart from the corners and my work myway outnow i'm using luke warm waterum it's a little bit you know on thehotter sidebut i'm not going to be putting any eggsright away soi'm not too concerned about basicallyWatch at: 12:20 / 12:40the the water being a little bit toowarmbut what i'm doing right here isbasically just adding waternow there's measurements online and allthat stuff but for me i've been doing itfor so long i could basically just usemy eyesand just tell now i could be using alittle bit more vermiculiteWatch at: 12:40 / 13:00but this seems to be just about almostgood now the way that you could tellthat you added enough wateris what i like to do is let's say myvermiculite is about aninch i like adding water to maybe abouthere so you should be able to see it onthe sideof your basically container some of theWatch at: 13:00 / 13:20water basically moving back and forthnow with bearded dragons they're prettyhardy eggsso you could go ahead and put them onthe vermiculite howeveri just find it a lot more easier just tohavesome sort of separation between thesubstrateas well as um you know theWatch at: 13:20 / 13:40the eggs so i like to use this egg crateori think it's a light diffuser you couldpick this up alsoat a hardware store um they usually useit i guess for elevators or for lightsum you know they are usually in thelight section of um you know theWatch at: 13:40 / 14:00hardware store soanywhere where they sell lights you'realready gonna go in there to pick upvermiculite so might as well just pickthis upso because i use this i could get awaywith adding as much water as iwant of course you don't want to add toomuch but for meyou know i don't measure anything i'mnot there sitting there with ascale so because i'm using this i couldget away withWatch at: 14:00 / 14:20basically adding a little bit too muchwater a little bitum you know eyeballing the water but ifyou are going to be placing the eggsonto the substrate not use this youdefinitely want to get the propermeasurements of the waterratio to the substrate but right nowthis is perfectso i got my lid got myself thatWatch at: 14:20 / 14:40vermiculite and the egg crate now it'stime to basically put some eggsunfortunatelyi don't have any eggs but what somethingi highly recommend before you placeany eggs onto this you want to make surethat you put it inside of the incubatorlet it run for maybe a couple of days ifWatch at: 14:40 / 15:00you don't have a couple of daysthen you can technically try to put himon here but what i findis that you want to make sure that thisis nice and warm before you place youreggsonto it now in front of me i got acouple of ball python eggs now this issomething thatum i like to do with my eggs umWatch at: 15:00 / 15:20not all the time it's not something i doevery single timebut sometimes you get a huge buildup ofcondensationat the top as you can see it's almostlike halfwaynow these droplets are not good to bedropping onto the eggthat could even cause mold or you knowthe eggs to get wetnow for bearded dragons they're a littleWatch at: 15:20 / 15:40bit more hardy they can get a little bitmore wet but you definitely don't wantthem to be soakedbut just to keep things i guess a littlebit on the safe sidesomething that you can do if you do seea huge buildup of condensation that'swhy i highly recommendbefore putting your eggs in to let thisrun a bit that way you could see ifthere's any condensation being builtWatch at: 15:40 / 16:00up but these eggs are almost ready tocut they're about a week away fromactuallyyou know either pipping on their own orme going in there and assistingbut what i'm going to be doing iswell you can see the eggs in therethey're already dimpling but what i'mgoing to be doingis just the condensation that has builtup throughout the weeksWatch at: 16:00 / 16:19i am just going to clean it off and youcan you can see that's a lot of waterthat's not good to fall on your eggslike i said bearded dragons are a littlebit more heartier when it comes to theeggs they'reactually a lot more heartier than ballpython eggsbut you definitely can do this and irecommendlike i said before putting your eggs inWatch at: 16:19 / 16:40to let it run for a couple of days ifnot a couple of weeksand that way you could make sure thateverything isgood so i'm just going to wipe the sideslike i saidthese guys are almost ready to be cut orassistedor even just pip on their own they'realready dimplingWatch at: 16:40 / 17:00they're a couple of days out fromactuallybeing born so i'm just gonna go in thereand just clean itout now if you are gonna be doing thisalso make sure that your room isnice and warm you definitely don't wantto be opening upyour eggs like how i did there too oftenWatch at: 17:00 / 17:20now when it comes to the humidity andthe temperatures ofbearded dragon eggs for ball pythonsit's completely differentthe only reason why i'm mentioning aboutpythons in this video is because i havethese eggs out hereum but when it comes to bearded dragonsyou want to make sure that thetemperatures inside of your incubatoris roughly around 84 to 86Watch at: 17:20 / 17:40you don't want too much of a drop theyusually take around60 days to hatch as well as you want tomake sure that your humiditystays consistent so roughly the humiditycould be anywhere from 40 to 50 theydon't need asuper high amount of humidity like imentionedWatch at: 17:40 / 18:00um you know if you do it this kind ofway you could go aroundand add as m you know as much water asyou want as long as it's not completelysoakingum the whole entire bin uh but you wantto make sure that your humidity staysconsistentas well as you want to make sure yourtemperatures stay consistentthat way your bearded dragons have aWatch at: 18:00 / 18:20goodum time i guess inside of the incubatorand they all hatchout perfectly fine you don't want to beopening it closing it checking it andeverythingso like i said it's fairly simple toincubate eggs and hopefully this videosort of helps i did use a little bit ofan example ofWatch at: 18:20 / 18:40the ball pythons and what i do with themvery similar to what i do with thebearded dragonsso you can see the vermiculite is aboutyay highand the water level comes about here aswell as i have the light diffuserthere is some condensation being builtup on these which goes to show thati maybe add a little bit too much waterbutWatch at: 18:40 / 19:00nothing is dripping on the egg so it'sperfectly fineso um i might go in there later onand maybe wipe them down but like i saidas long as you're checking to make surethat they're not dripping on the eggsthey should be perfectly fineso hopefully this video has helped outif you have any more questions domessage me backWatch at: 19:00 / 19:20uh that way we could maybe figure thingsout but like i said if you haveany questions and this goes out toanyone out therei can't even answer relationshipquestions if you want me tobecause if you got questions i gotanswers so hopefully you guys out thereare staying safe send me your questionsand i'll answer it in video formnext week hopefully we can answer aWatch at: 19:20 / 19:40couple of questions back to backthat way it's not just one questionbecause there's a ton of questions ineed to go throughi am going to be answering more so if idon't make itif i don't post about it on youtube iwill try to answerback so definitely hit me up atunderscore lord of Yes!!! We got a zoom in and some curls!!
Love your vids, subscribed and notified, got a bearded dragon because of you a few weeks ago and named him after Wilbert. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos, you are my go to guy for info and entertainment. Love if you’d comment back on this.+ please keep doing the Zoom Ins.
Okay so my bearded will not eat the Crickets she almost looks like she's scared of them and she won't eat greens at all she will not touch veggies what do I do. She totally ignores mealworms, but she will occasionally eat a hornworm. The other thing is she loves water she will sit there and drink it right out of a little bottle out of my hand.
Love this video lord elion, thanks for posting this video
My fav YouTuber now days. always positive, cares about his pets A LOT, spreads knowledge so others can care for theirs properly, and hilarious. ❤️ much love from a beardie mom in AR.

IVE HAD ISSUES WITH ZOOMED HEAT BULBS BLOWING OUT EVERY OTHER MONTH SO IM USING A FLOOD LAMP NOW WITH A DIMMER TO CONTROL TEMPS BUT THE HEAT IS MORE ON ONE SPOT AND NOT SPREAD OUT AS WIDE AS THE ZOOMED BULB

Very helpful video thanks for all the good info!
thanks! i have a pregnant beardy and this video was super helpful!
THANK YOU for educating me on hatching eggs! There is no videos on utube that explains it like you do.
Have you ever experienced 2 female bearded dragons mating? Mine are confusing. One has definitely laid eggs. I tried the whole flash light up to the tail and such on the one that hasn't laid eggs and I don't see any gentilia near the tail base but yet he'l mount my egg laying female and mate with her. Is he definitely a male or just acting like a dominant female?
Did i heard it right? The water cant drop on the eggs of bearded dragons and ball phytons? Can someone explain it. Hehez Thankyou.
!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!! Would a small UVB bulb on top / above of a clear covered incubator help or hurt? or should it just remain dark?
I'm not ready!!! What shall I start with…!!
If my bearded dragon lays a bunch of eggs and I don’t want them can I give them to like a pet shop? I don’t wanna just throw the eggs away.
Good Day sir, would like to ask as my bearded dragon just laid eggs, it looks dented but as i try candling it, i can see what i think is an embryo as it has a red round object in it. Its her first time laying eggs. Is it a sign of fertile or infertile eggs? thanks sir, Keep inspiring!
thank you so much its so difficult to get certain information, my beardie shes 7 yrs old laid her first clutch, was not intending on breeding, i have a male and female who have been in their own tanks for quite a while. i had them for 7 yrs!! they spent a few hours together in the bath (most of the time) and then in a single tank for about an hour , when in shallow bath i was in process of thoroughly cleaning their tanks & they were still shedding so i figured they would enjoy the warm water while i did my thing, few weeks later she laid eggs,
i don't know yet if their fertile, i read how to check but still unsure as its only 6 days now, 2 are pretty plumb, white and the eggs seem to be growing/expanding (would they do this if they were NOT fertile? or would they eventually rot?
i had 11, but had to toss one today, so the remaining 10, while not all looking the best, they dont stink, their in vermiculite much like how you explain, im fighting away tiny flies and constantly keeping their eggs off my eggs, its so much work. i cant afford a proper incubator, if i was breeding them then yes i would invest but this was an absolute surprise !!! we bought vermiculite tonight and their now snug in good warm smoosh …i hope at least a cpl are good! i did see some veins & spots inside the egg in a candling last night. but still idk, im both excited and worried i did so much work for nothing lol except i did ern the experience in case it happens again or if i maybe do want to try to breed them after all!
i subscribed and hope to learn more here 😀
sorry for book lol
Do you have a circulation fan inside the incubator
I needed you you helped me so
Thank god for you
What temp in celcius for incubating beardie eggs? Also the bowl with lids i have have small holes in them.does this matter? This is my first time incubating I have q few questions
So no holes in them? You anwsered thank you
Love your videos
