Its nice to watch destiny squirm an "leak" all this content at the same time a competitor game releases weird.
Why the hell do people want old Chicago so damn bad??? Like I play the game to go to different areas all throughout SPACE.
Instead of hopping on the Hype train, I'm heading to Outriders for a bit. The AI isn't as boring and Stomp happy. There's got to be a way to make the PVE experience a little more engaging. In Outriders, the Elite enemies get random abilities. It makes the grind a little less like slowly feeding my tongue into a escalator.
It's April, time to get the leak train rolling! But this year will be different since the new dlc won't drop until early 2022 so this year we'll get an extra 3 months or so of it…SCORE!!!
Here's a major leak… we'll shoot vex, cabal, hive and fallen in the next dlc and maybe just maybe if we're all really good we will get an exotic from 2014!!hey it's worked for the last 7 years.
Well if these leaks are true then I have a theory. Lightfall being the "infinity war of destiny" could just elude to a big battle but I think it means that we will lose. The new expansions after the light and dark saga being called the alpha centauri expansions in my opinion all but confirms (if the leaks are real) that we will lose and half to flee to the nearby alpha centauri system.

As someone who lives next to Chicago, and go's there all the time, I can say idk what any of the stuff on the leaked map could be.
That map of old Chicago is exactly like the bottom middle area on the moon. Same circle structure with a ravine below it, same wide tower with damage in the same spot, etc. It’s hard to notice at first, but really obvious once you see it

I want bungie to bring back vehicle crucible maps. True 6v6 maps bigger in general. These maps are terrible for 6v6. Also slow down time to kill. PVE they can do w.e. it's always about the same. Raids is always the highlight.
When Destiny first released in 2014, there were rumors that the guardian met the Crow outside of Old Chicago and Crow informed the guardian that the Traveler was not what it seemed. Data mining the original game disk revealed Europa, but not Old Chicago.
Old Chicago would definitely be interesting, but if I had to pick one area on earth, specifically in the western hemisphere, I might have to pick either somewhere in the rocky mountains or on the west coast. Like Denver or Portland. I'd say Seattle, but since Bungie is in Seattle i don't think they'd have much interest in doing what they see every day.
I know the concept art shows they want to do Chicago as a swamp/hazard zone, but Chicago is very flat and pretty standard as far as a city layout goes. Denver (or another mountainy City) would be fun, as well I think they could do a lot with the PacNW. Altho it might just feel like EDZ 2.
If they're deadset on a Midwest City, Minneapolis would be more interesting in my opinion. The skywalks of Minneapolis are a very prominent feature of the city and would provide a lot of really interesting verticality to the map.
One thing I wouldn't mind is going prone like in rainbow 6. That could be an excuse to bring back that exotic s opera as well that turned you invisible when you crouched.
I would say it’s fake bc of the text style. They could be doing a UI change though.
