Watch at: 00:00 / 00:00:20yo what's going on guys alex here welcome back to a video for monster hunter rise sun break and in this one i will give you a quick guide on how to get five times more monster materials every single hunt this is without question something you should definitely be doing if you want to maximize your farming if you want to maximize your material gain so you can craft as many items as possible if you guys do enjoy this like could be super appreciated comment down below if you have any questions but to begin with this of course revolves around a evolution to the wyvern riding system we did a video like this back in rice some of you guys may remember that in order to get more materials ordinarily you would go and you would wife and ride a monster and you should be familiar with the fact that when you are wi-fi riding monsters and you attack another monster they will drop shinies typically they will drop a total of three keep in mind that what you want to be doing whenever you do this to maximize your rewards is you want to use a monster and you want to perform attacks and then use the evade cancel so you're not stuck in the animation doing so gives you more bang for your buck essentially so you don't burn through the bar but once you see three items drop typically you would then eat the monster into the other one that'll then put that into a wife and riding state you then climb on the other monster and you then do the same to the reverse monster getting their materials dropped as well and if you really want to be extra you go and do that on the third monster in the map as well that way you get three shinies from every single monster however sun break introduces the gold wire bug described as a new type of wire bug that suddenly materialized in multiple habitats and they possess powers that help hunters why bugs recover and they make stillwell attacks more powerful however in addition to this the gold one also increased the chance of obtaining drops when using wyvern riding attacks you can take a look at your map whenever you load into a locale and you can see various different locations like these if you go around and you pick one up the golden wire bike icon will then appear above your health bar and then whenever you wipe and ride a monster you'll then get the golden threads instead now this is important because in the process of attacking the monster this now allows you to drop up to five shinies so you get even more materials so if you then want to maximize your material gain your farming you want to make sure that you load into the map and you always grab the golden wire bug you then simply need to go and override a monster you then want to go and attack the other one again making good use of the evades especially if you're trying to get all five drops you want to make sure that you're attacking as much as possible so anytime you land an attack be sure to use an evade provided of course you have wire bugs so you can then maximize this once you then see the five shinies drop you will then eat the monster into the other one repeat the process in reverse and again if you want to you can then go and seek out the third monster on the map to get as many materials as possible if of course you're only farming one monster you can just do this on your target of choice but either way using the golden wire bug and waving riding allows you to get five additional shiny drops which is a game changer and that my friends is pretty much it super quick tip but something that is very important that you definitely do not want to be sleeping on some break introduce some fantastic new endemic life these are just some of them but this is the one you need for those items if you guys have missed any of our other recent videos be sure to check out one of these ones and otherwise be sure to keep it locked because we've got plenty more sun break guides coming your wayWatch at: 00:20 / 00:40Watch at: 00:40 / 01:00Watch at: 01:00 / 01:20Watch at: 01:20 / 01:40Watch at: 01:40 / 02:00Watch at: 02:00 / 02:20Watch at: 02:20 / 02:40Watch at: 02:40 / 03:00Watch at: 03:00 / 03:20

  1. i cant wait for a nice juicy sword and shield build for sunbreak from you, i have been looking for a reason to use it but havent seen anything worthwhile yet 🙂

  2. The title leads to the suggestion that u get 15x drops, u wrote "monster materials" in generell, but it reads like woah 15 materials from one monster?! and then u explain this, is a little downer tbh 😀

  3. Updated the title and thumbnail so it's clearer 🙂 This is mainly aimed at people new to Monster Hunter to help them get a few more cheeky materials, but hope this is useful! Happy hunting!

  4. im almost positive you can get 6 drops. ive seen it pretty regularly. like usually ill get the red one to do damage and get 3 drops then go get the gold and the other monster to get 3 more.

  5. Hot Tip for
    Gold Wirebug Riding:

Parrying a monster's attack drops the shiny and fills the Punisher Gauge Very Slowly.

This allows for max amount of shiny drops without having to deal with the punisher countdown timer.

Also while you have the gold wirebug (Lasts for 3mins)
your silkbind/jumping attacks Trigger the mounted state quicker.
(as long as the mounted state is off cooldown)

  6. Also for those who don't know. If you find a scale lizard/rock lizard, instead of kicking them once for 1 drop, you can use your kunai to hit them 3 times. gives you 3 extra drops though I can't remember if the scale lizard can give some of the rarer monster materials.

  7. I'm pretty sure that the Gold Wirebug can get you an additional 3 shiny drops for a total of 6 per monster. But there is a limit to how many shiny drops can be on a map.

I was doing the Double Wroggi MR1 quest and I wyvern rode the Tetranadon and went after Wroggi 1 then used Wroggi 1 against Wroggi 2, then Wroggi 2 Against the Tetranadon. When I got back to the Tetranadon which was still where Wroggi 1 was, all my shinies were still there. but then I used Wroggi 2 against the Tetranadon and they all Disappeared. 🙁 I'm playing on Switch though so that may be a system limitation
