Star Wars Battlefront 2 campaign will take place in the 30-year period between the end of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The story will follow protagonist Iden Versio, who leads an elite Imperial unit called Inferno Squad, and players will get the chance to play as well-known characters like Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren during the campaign.

Sure they didn’t completely deliver on a campaign exclusive to the empire but it’s still a pretty solid campaign. Could’ve been longer though.

I might as well play the campaign before multiplayer
I don't much care for her defection, mainly because they'd advertised this as an Empire-focused story, but I still think this might be worth a playthrough just to get a first-hand perspective on the story of the war's end. It's certainly done a better job of grabbing my attention than Aftermath, in roughly the same amount of time as the sample I downloaded.

so good game I played and I finished in 2 days its short and sooo fun and u can also play multiplayer. One of the best games that i ever played
