Watch at: 00:00 / 00:00:20maccas guides hey everyone Mack here andin today's video we are playingsubnautica some good news this game isavailable in xbox game pass and offersthe 1000 gamer score and this also workson the PlayStation and offers a platinumtrophy although you need to go ahead andWatch at: 00:20 / 00:40buy the game in that case unfortunatelynow the video length will show us howlong this completion will last I haveedited out some of the loading screensand whatnot so you can expect to takeabout 40 to 50 minutes once you load upthe game feel free to go through some ofthe options but in order to speed thisup we're just gonna go to new game andWatch at: 00:40 / 01:00start on freedom loading in this gametakes a really long time so after about2 or 3 minutes you should be able toskip the intro and we're gonna get rightinto it now the method for this doesinvolve admin commands as well asdeveloper commands so we're going to betaking advantage of those once we startup what we want to do is pause the gameWatch at: 01:00 / 01:20and then press the left and right bumperat the same time in order to get a newoption in the pasta green calleddeveloper go into there and then undercommands you want to choose explode shipno cost no damage oxygen fast build fasthatch unlock doors and infect 50Watch at: 01:20 / 01:40then back up and go to give in thedeveloper menu give yourself the habitatbuilder and then give yourself an ioncrystal open up the menu again and giveyourself a second ion crystal so thatWatch at: 01:40 / 02:00you have to next what we'll do is pausethe game again and press lb RB and a atthe same time very quickly and if donecorrectly you'll get a keyboard to comeup and here we can type in three codesthe first one will be all lowercaseunlock all and that has a space betweenWatch at: 02:00 / 02:20the two words as shown on screen unlockall will then do it again pause the gamelb RB and a all quickly at the same timeopen up that keyboard and all as oneword lowercase we're gonna type in fixleaks and that will be our second devcommandWatch at: 02:20 / 02:40and then our third command again samemenu will be all lowercase item spacecute fish egg as shown on screen do allWatch at: 02:40 / 03:00three of these in order to get to thenext step once those three dev commandsare input walk forward and interact withthe fabricator on the right-hand sideinside of the fabricator we will chooseWatch at: 03:00 / 03:20resources then we'll choose the secondoption advanced materials and then wewill make the last option hatchingenzymes will need this for later in ourplaythrough after this is created whatwe can do is grab the next item so gointo deployables and then what we wantWatch at: 03:20 / 03:40is to make the via the mobile vehiclebei this will be another thing we'llneed in just a minute here once thefabrication is complete you'llautomatically pick it up and then whatwe can do is pause the game go todeveloper go to teleport and we'llteleport to wreck one as soon as youWatch at: 03:40 / 04:00spawn just hit the right trigger andthis will deploy the mobile vehicle Bayand then what you can do is basicallyjust swim up to the surface following italso using all this teleportation inthese dev commands can make the game runa little poorly so keep that in mind youmight be getting some framerate issuesand the occasional glitch but hopefullyWatch at: 04:00 / 04:20they don't get in the way too badly nowonce you climb up to the top get insideof the mobile vehicle Bay by climbingthe little ladder and then once you hopon we'll need to build some stuffso interact with the screen and thiswill bring you to a couple of menus thefirst thing we'll do is go to vehiclesWatch at: 04:20 / 04:40and build this seamoth once you selectit you'll see it spawn in front of yousome vehicles take longer than othersthe seamoth is pretty quick once it'sready it'll drop into the water and thatmeans you're ready for the next one goto the vehicle bay again and now selectthe second vehicle which is the CyclopsWatch at: 04:40 / 05:00with that done you can go back into theWatch at: 05:00 / 05:20menu and choose the third vehicle whichis the prawn suit now there are achievedand trophies related to each of thesevehicles however they will not unlockuntil the very end of this walkthroughonce we are completely done so you won'tbe getting anything to pop or show up onWatch at: 05:20 / 05:40screen until the very endhop back on to the mobile vehicle bayand now choose the Neptune launchplatform which is the second option thiswill take a while but basically spawn agiant platform in front of you and wecan now go and swim up to it on the leftside will be where the controls are soyou can just swim straight there orWatch at: 05:40 / 06:00climb the ladder directly in front ofyou and then walk there when you'rereadyonce the platform drops into the waterjust go up to the controls and interactWatch at: 06:00 / 06:20with them each time you interact withthem something will be built and we needto build four unique things this cantake a few minutes so basically justwait until stuff is built and then justkeep clicking the screen until you havebuilt all four items this is basicallyjust building the rocket will use toescape at the very end of theWatch at: 06:20 / 06:40walkthroughWatch at: 06:40 / 07:00 Watch at: 07:00 / 07:20once the rocket is fully built we canWatch at: 07:20 / 07:40 Watch at: 07:40 / 08:00jump into the water behind us and swimdown to the very bottom of the oceanfloor what you want to do is equip yourhabitat builder if you see it in one ofthe icons at the bottom of the screenWatch at: 08:00 / 08:20you can select it by using right on thed-pad however if it doesn't show upthere you need to press back to go toyour inventory and assign it to a quickslot and then once you have it in thequick slot just select it with right onthe d-pad this will bring out thehabitat builder and then just use theright trigger to actually use it andthis will bring up a menu of what youWatch at: 08:20 / 08:40want to build the first thing we want tobuild is in the second row and it is themulti-purpose room you may have to aimup and down a little bit for it to turngreen so that you can properly build itnow we need to get inside of thismulti-purpose room so we'll need a hatchuse your multi-purpose tool again clickthe right trigger and the hatch is foundon the last row attach the hatch to theWatch at: 08:40 / 09:00multi-purpose roomand then go inside by interacting withthe hatch you should be able to get invery quickly and once we're inside we'regoing to use our habitat builder againwe're going to press the right triggerwe're going to tab over to the third taband select the alien containment tankWatch at: 09:00 / 09:20aim it at the ground until it turnsgreen and then build it next we'll wantto do is build a hatch on the aliencontainment tank so tab over back to thefirst tab and put in a hatch and nowwhat you want to do is climb inside onceinside press back to open up yourinventory find the creature egg and thenWatch at: 09:20 / 09:40drop it using the right trigger once youdrop it it will take a few seconds butit will begin to hatch once thecuttlefish hatches from the egg you willwant to interact with it using a inorder to pick it up so once it startsswimming around pick it up and it'll goto your inventory now that it is in ourWatch at: 09:40 / 10:00inventory what we can do is leave thistank and then leave the multi-purposeroom this will bring us back out intothe actual ocean and once we are in theocean press back to open up yourinventory select the cuttlefish and thenpress the right trigger to drop itagain it'll start swimming around andWatch at: 10:00 / 10:20it's basically a friend with you we haveto dismiss it as a friend though soselect it press the right trigger to sayfarewell you'll get a small little kindof cutscene and it will leave this isfor a specific achievement slash trophyagain you want to keep in mind thateverything will unlock at the end ofthis walkthrough though we are now readyWatch at: 10:20 / 10:40to start teleporting a little bit pausethe game go to developer go to teleportand what we want to do is teleport tobase 1now when you teleport in this game stuffdoesn't really spawn very often soyou'll find yourself kind of followingthrough the map with all of these weirdtextures that's very normalafter you teleport once just wait aboutWatch at: 10:40 / 11:0010 seconds go to developer and thenteleport there again summon teleportback to base 1 again and now I actuallyspawned on top of where I was supposedto spawn on the land now it might bereally dark on your screen if it'snighttime that's normal what you want todo is find your way to ground level andthen you want to find an open hatch andWatch at: 11:00 / 11:20you can jump inside of this smallstructure through that door and you'lljump with the Y button and as soon asyou go inside you'll start finding PDAswe're looking for one very specific PDAfound on the right hand side throughthis door and the name of it displayedon the left side of the screen is calledstormyou can keep exploring but make sure youWatch at: 11:20 / 11:40find the data download called stormyou can then pause the game go todeveloper go to teleport and go to base2 the same thing will happen once youteleport here stuff won't really spawnfor a while so feel free to just waitand spawn in again or continue atinguntil everything works and then what youWatch at: 11:40 / 12:00can do is try to look around and seewhere everything is you should be ableto turn and locate a base inside of thisbase is our second PDA we'll need soswim towards the base look down into thefar side on the right-hand side you'llnotice that there is an opening to goinside so go inside of here and then goWatch at: 12:00 / 12:20to the left hand side it is a little bithard to swim through these narrowhallways and then take a right-hand turnand you'll notice a ladder go up thisladder and then at the top of the ladderturn around a hundred and eighty degreesand you will be able to locate anotherPDA this is the specific one we need andWatch at: 12:20 / 12:40the name on screen displayed is stalkerteeth so make sure you get the stalkerteeth data download as well now what wecan do is pause the game go to developergo to teleport and teleport to basethree we're yet again we'll get anotherPDA againthe stuff might not spawn around youthat's normal feel free to wait and thenWatch at: 12:40 / 13:00spawn in again and it should startworking and once it starts working youshould locate a quite large base it maybe a little bit darker on your screenthan it is on mine if it is the dead ofnight you can continue waiting until itgets brighter or just try to navigateyour way through once the base spawnsyou'll locate it right in front of youWatch at: 13:00 / 13:20what you want to do is swim to the backside of the base and here you can locatea hatch that has been broken and youshould be able to swim in through thishatch directly in front of you will bean aquarium tank you'll probably donkyour head on and that's normal but onthe back side is a ladder you'll want toswim down this ladder and then you'llWatch at: 13:20 / 13:40end up in an office room with a desk onthat desk is your third PDA make sureyou grab it this one is calledrisk-taking and is required for thecompletion you can now pause the game goto developer go to teleport and the nextarea will be teleporting to is calledgun as with all of our teleportingWatch at: 13:40 / 14:00you'll probably have to do this onetwice so you'll spawn get dunked in somewater and then try it again after itloads above you and you should be ableto then teleport on to the proper pieceof land we are supposed to be on so ifyou do it properly you'll land on thiskind of beach with a door right in frontof you and to your left so walk forwardWatch at: 14:00 / 14:20you'll need a key to open this door sowhat we'll do is we will pause the gamego to developer go to give and then giveourself the precursor keys these arejust keys that can unlock certain doorswith the tablets you can now interactprice place the precursor key this willopen up the door in front of you andWatch at: 14:20 / 14:40what we can do is just start walkingforward to the back side of where wecameyou can click in the right the leftstick in order to start sprinting and ifyou sprint through to the very backthere is a panel that we can interactwith so interact with this panel andallow everything to happen that issupposed to happen as part of thesequence of the game and we can thenWatch at: 14:40 / 15:00move on to the next achievement againnone of them are unlocking until thevery end of the playthrough with thealien data downloaded off of theterminal pause the game and go toteleport yet again through the developerWatch at: 15:00 / 15:20menu the next area we are going is agood chunk of the way down the list andit is called Lost River base as with allof our teleports this one might take twoattempts but shouldn't because you spawnin the proper area and don't move afterspawning however it does take quite along time for everything you need toWatch at: 15:20 / 15:40happen to spawn so just keep patient andfeel free to travel here again if youneed to but you might need to wait up to20 seconds for everything to spawnanyways once it all spawns in you shouldbe able to turn around and notice aquite large base with a very obviousdoor right in front of you so we'reWatch at: 15:40 / 16:00gonna go into this base through thisdoor and what we're trying to get tohappen is a specific piece of dialoguewhich will happen no matter whatso just go in through the door and thencontinue forward and to the back sideand then look to the left there will bea comment on the bottom of the screenWatch at: 16:00 / 16:19about the walls being substantiallyreinforced indicating designers wereseeking either to keep something out orcontain it within just keep waitinguntil this dialogue is completely doneand we can then fast travel to the nextarea go to developer go to teleport andunder Lost River base is our next optionWatch at: 16:19 / 16:40and it is called the lava Castle basethis one can be a little bit tricky asit's not entirely known what will makethe achievement pop but it's not too badbasically just spawn and you'll notice abase in front of you and what everyoneseems to recommend on ta for your bestchance here is that you justbasically swim around above the base forWatch at: 16:40 / 17:00about 20 or 30 seconds and you'll wantto swim above it and kind of around itall over and hopefully this will work wewon't really find out until the end ofthe playthrough but luckily if it didn'twork fixing this problem only takes likea matter of seconds so we can always trythis later after you're done swimmingWatch at: 17:00 / 17:20around for a bit pause the game go todeveloper go to teleport and we'll go tothe next area what we're looking for onthe list is the aquarium so load intothe aquarium now and what we can do isjust wait a little bit until the gameloads once it loads there will be alarge alien fish creature that spawns inWatch at: 17:20 / 17:40front of you and will begin talking toyou you basically just have to waituntil this finishes and they will swimaway and we will be done with theaquarium so as you see on screen thisfish is right to my right-hand sidejust waiting for everything to load butyou should be good when you notice thatWatch at: 17:40 / 18:00you have the effect on screen and you'llnotice the large kind of alien fishit'll it'll swim away and we're ready togowe are curious whether you swim or fightWatch at: 18:00 / 18:20against itonce it swims away pause the game openup the developer menu go to teleport andwe will go to our next area which is afair bit down the list and it is calledWatch at: 18:20 / 18:40the incubator you should spawn in rightin front of a couple of eggs and if youback away from them a little bit andlook at the foot of the platform thereis a small cube we can interact withthis cube here and put in the ion cubethat we spawned earlier at the beginningof the playthrough here at any point ifWatch at: 18:40 / 19:00you do need to save and come back lateryou can but I wouldn't recommend it bythe way but if you put the ion cubanside and then interact with theincubator hatching enzymes in the middlethe eggs will all start hatching andonce the eggs start hatching what we cando is turn around and head up the rampWatch at: 19:00 / 19:20that will be behind us at the top of theramp is an arch as well as some sand sowe'll just wait here and the kind ofmother of these hatching eggs will comeby and they will move all of the sandout of the way here so that's what we'regonna wait for really quick thissections not hard at all it just takes alittle longer than some of the otherWatch at: 19:20 / 19:40sections once all of that is clearedaway go forward and interact with thecube in front of you to place our secondion cube inside once we place our secondion cube inside it will open up a portaldo not go through it instead turn aroundand you'll notice that all of the eggsWatch at: 19:40 / 20:00that hatched will start flying towardsyou in order to try to go through thatportal and as they come towards you oneof them or multiple of them will dropthese small orange blobs and what wewant want to do is as soon as one ofthese blobs spawns just go up to it andinteract with it and that will start aWatch at: 20:00 / 20:20little bit of a story section where itjust tells you you knowkind of just I honestly don't reallyknow what happens game to be honest butit will you'll interact with the cubeand and learn some stuff about someenzymesWatch at: 20:20 / 20:40my young are swimming for the shallows Ithank you their freedom is my end whatwill it be like I wonder to go to sleepWatch at: 20:40 / 21:00and never wakeperhaps next we meet Icurrent-carrying sees to a new landcreatures after you interact with theorange blob of enzyme it will exhaustWatch at: 21:00 / 21:20all of the dialogue and we can do now ispause the game go to developer and go toteleport we'll need to go to somewherenear the bottom of the list and we arelooking for something called the gunterminal so select the gun terminal asWatch at: 21:20 / 21:40with all of our teleports this one doestake two attempts I believe because ifyou don't you'll spawn outside of whereyou're supposed to spawn so the firstkind of instance will spawn stuff andthe second instance will put you in theright spot it is an indoor space so youmight come out of your scuba gear butWatch at: 21:40 / 22:00for me I didn't end up coming out of myscuba gear because I teleported twicetoo quickly it doesn't really matter itdoesn't make a difference as long as youend up inside of the gun terminal afteryou spawn you should be good to go andonce you're inside what you want to dois just go towards the terminal right inWatch at: 22:00 / 22:20front of you from where you spawned upthe ramp interact with it this willcause a short little 20-secondinteraction between you and the terminalallow this to exhaust and we are on ourwayWatch at: 22:20 / 22:40once the defenses go down and all thelights turn off open the developer menugo to teleport and we're going toteleport to wreck one which is where wekind of started this walkthrough and weare basically ready to take off at theend of the game there are a few veryimportant steps you want to take thoughbefore you do that so what you'll do isWatch at: 22:40 / 23:00you'll swim up back to the launchplatform and you'll interact with theelevator and the elevator will bring youinto the rocket itself once we're in therocket there are a few things we'll needto prep then we'll save the game andback out and we'll do a whole bunch ofthings I will rejoin you with commentaryonce we're inside the rocketWatch at: 23:00 / 23:20[Music]Watch at: 23:20 / 23:40once you enter the rocket as soon as youenter there are three things we need tointeract with go to your left andinteract with the auxiliary power unitflick that switch so that it's greenthen just continue along the hallway andinteract with the communications arrayto turn that light green and then justWatch at: 23:40 / 24:00continue along this very small hallwayto the opposite side and interact withthe hydraulic systems turn that to greenand then what we can do is climb theladder once you climb the ladder whatyou want to do is eventually you willWatch at: 24:00 / 24:20turn to your left and interact with theboot up the primary CPU so this is goingto turn on the computer on the oppositeside of the primary computer system wecan find the life support systeminteract with that and turn it on andWatch at: 24:20 / 24:40then what you want to do is turn to yourleft and click in the right stick thiswill take a screenshot once you take ascreenshot you can now interact with thetime capsule go into the time capsuleand we'll need to do three things put anitem in put a screenshot in and put aWatch at: 24:40 / 25:00message in on the left hand sideinteract with that and put any item youwant inside of the time capsule itdoesn't really matter what you useanything in your inventory will behelpful here I'm just gonna put in thetablet then under the image put in thescreenshot we just took with the rightstick if you didn't take one make sureyou take one by backing out and comingWatch at: 25:00 / 25:20back in make sure you select the actualactual screenshot and then back up putany message you wantI just put hi and now I backed up andthe time capsule is ready because allthree of the things are complete we cannow pause the game and press save thiswill take a while and it'll say savinggame in the top left corner this couldWatch at: 25:20 / 25:40take upwards of 30 seconds and we willcontinue to wait until it stops sayingsaving game we have to make sure itsaves all the wayand that we don't accidentally corruptany of the files by quitting out tooearly or just confusing the game bydoing too many things at once so we'regonna wait until the game saves fullyWatch at: 25:40 / 26:00with the game 100% fully saved in thetop-left corner we can pause the gameWatch at: 26:00 / 26:20now and press quit this will bring us tothe splash screen no pun intended and wecan press Start in order to load backinto the main menu which will startloading some of our saves this processcould take between two and three minutesso just keep patient I'm gonna edit itout for the purposes of this videothough as soon as you are able to youWatch at: 26:20 / 26:40will press play and then select yoursave which is the one we just made itsays two hours and two minutes for mebut this isn't true I don't know how thegame calculates this time this willthrow you into a loading screen whichcould take another two or three minutesbut about halfway through achievementsand trophies should start unlocking andWatch at: 26:40 / 27:00you'll unlock a lot of them all at onceyou can double check we should have 15out of 17 there is a small chance youwill have 14 out of 17 or if you're onPlayStation there would be 18 and inthat case you may need to repeat acertain step I will leave time linksdown below but if you do need to repeatWatch at: 27:00 / 27:20a step it is quite easy all you would dois teleport to wherever you need toteleport to try to do that achievementagain come back to the rocket and thensave again reload relaunch and you'regood to go it should unlock anything youmay have accidentally missed once you dohave 15 out of 17 though with the timeWatch at: 27:20 / 27:40capsule ready all you need to do isinteract with the seat to launch therocketyou'll get one achievement for beatingthe game and one achievement for doingthe time capsule you should now have 17out of 17 for the full thousand or
