three or fourdays so you can check out the game forthe link that I have down below if afterwatching this you wanted to get the gamethis is kind of a city building towerdefense survival crafting Viking there'sWatch at: 00:20 / 00:40a lot of stuff going on this game has alot of descriptors and so rather thanspending all my time on descriptorslet's just make a character and get runinto shall we we get a little bit of asuntan right there that sounds prettygood we've got a number of faces we canchoose between I got to have the schnozlet's get the Shahnaz in there I likeWatch at: 00:40 / 01:00that hair - we're gonna rock that hairright there we're gonna have kind of thelittle dread things going on kind ofdarken up the hair a little bit oh wecan emot-- - do we have any like dopeemotes drive any emotes where I likestart dougie in or something like I Iwon't teach me how to dougie teach meteach me how to dougieI know it's old but still that would behumorous I'm gonna try to floss orWatch at: 01:00 / 01:20anything out here and I'm trying to gowith the classics for the moment I thinkI'm okay with all of that stuff we getto choose our blessings - we have noblessing points available well damn is gonna be likea it's gonna be like a splattyonly game for right now and you willnever know my password ever world nameyeah it sounds fine right there so we'vegot our lone Saga ideal for solo orgroups of two or three players grantWatch at: 01:40 / 02:00saga this game is multiplayer you canbring in a bunch of your friends andit'll save the server that you create sothat you can all log back in again laterif you wanted to keep on going so ifyou've got three or four friendsdefinitely one of those games we'rehaving a little bit of backup can helpbut they do also include there you gothey Yggdrasil andplanted them across Midgard to protectthemselves villages of humans began tosettle around these seeds benefitingfrom their powers and guarding them forcenturies to come but not all realmsWatch at: 02:40 / 03:00were pleased by the gods controlcreatures began preying upon the seedslurking in the shadows of humans theforces of chaos are now marching onMidgard setting in motion thedestruction foretold by the legendsprepared to die a glorious deathWatch at: 03:00 / 03:20together to protect their homesthe humans stand their ground Ragnarokhas begun is it beginning right now ordo I have like a 10 minute warningbefore Ragnarok starts alright so thevillage host the seed of Yggdrasil if itWatch at: 03:20 / 03:40dies everybody dies we got to go getsome materials and some resources he'llthings are going to try and invade thevillage at night and they will becomemore numerous as they try to eat ourwondrous seed sometimes a yotan willcome and then we will have to kick it inthe junk until it leaves because that isWatch at: 03:40 / 04:00what Odin requires Odin loves a manthat'll get on out there and kick a yoting right in his junk just bow justtake him out right in the yotan ballsbut for now we are very very naked andwe should probably work on that so let'sstop being very very naked we don't havea tool right now all right well we canWatch at: 04:00 / 04:20get a flint rock right there that looksgood yeah let's get some Flint rocksprobably that rock had a soul tooit's a very soulful rock every time youtouch his leg his kid just kind of likesinging you know we have a literal specialability that allows us to kick yo Tain'sright in the nutsand frankly I think you get intoValhalla by default if you pull that offlike they don't even question it they'rejust warning period to be like hey getback to base right this second cuz thehell things are coming yeah just keeppicking up Flint rocks and stuffI assume that the souls I think we feedthose to the tree if I remembercorrectly I played the last beta and wewere still fiddling around with variousWatch at: 06:00 / 06:20systems by the end of like the secondepisode when we played the last beta andso anyways I am interested in seeingwhat things have moved around and whatthings have changed and what things aremore important than they used to bebecause like the last time we played thegame it was a little bit rough and itwas a little bit content light but atthe same time I did like the centralidea that the game was pitching franklyWatch at: 06:20 / 06:40I'm a sloppy sucker for anything thatincludes the world of Vikings so wellthe evening is here I've more or lessspent the entire day just picking uprandom stuff in the half-hearted hopethat maybe I'll be able to craftsomething in order to protect myself wedidn't have like a full day to reallyget things done on our first day I amWatch at: 06:40 / 07:00however assuming that on the first daymaybe the hell things are gonna be alittle bit light or at least we'll becapable of knocking them out with ourbare hands can I go in through that gateright there I can't okay we got to go inthrough the main gate on this side wecan't hop on through like rightWatch at: 09:00 / 09:20here is where I put on my blessings allright now we've got four trees that wecould play around with to get RangerGuardian brawler and warden so one ofthem is for team play one of them us arefighting ones for defense and ones forcrafting as far as I know I'm gonna holdon to my points for a little bit we'rejust gonna kind of save them for alittle while I don't want to like goWatch at: 09:20 / 09:40through my points before I knoweffectively what I need more of but I'dlike to have like a weapon by the end ofthe night that'd be greatthis dude is chopping down trees withone swing what an absolute irrevocablegod that's unbelievable like thatjust impressive if I ever go out I'veWatch at: 09:40 / 10:00chopped down trees before and it's notlike a hard thing to do but itdefinitely takes more than one swingI'll let you know that right now so thefact this dude is running up and justcleaving a spruce in Twain with asingular motion is actually kind ofcrazy we got a little bit of stone rightthere that's good we needed that I'mgonna keep chopping down trees I'mWatch at: 10:00 / 10:20trying to get the wood supply up we'regetting lots of souls from doing thisanyways and honestly I'd really like toget the tree recharged and get itselfback up to full it actually doesn't looklike it's gonna take us that long tomash out oh no it's a wolf oh yeah herewhoop get out of here woof now it's notthe time bad wolfget out of here there we go so we gotWatch at: 10:20 / 10:40some leather we got some fur I'll takethat I'll take it for sure I don't knowif these little trees are even worthchopping it looks like you still getthree wood from them regardless of howbig they are so I'm just gonna do it amore stone nice let's get that rightthere I would like to see some amount oflight channeling or something forWatch at: 10:40 / 11:00chopping down the trees maybe just tolike draw it in and get a little bitmore immersive I suppose it's one ofthose little things that like choppingdown the tree with one swing I don'tknow if that's because they're trying tokeep momentum and they're just trying tomake it so that the game plays quicklyand it feels like a desperate scramblewhenever it's day time to get thingsdone or you know if they're just waitingto implement the animations or whateverelse but either way I'm more of anWatch at: 11:00 / 11:20immersive kind of guy when it comes tomy survival games and so like I like itwhen when you get kind of drawn in yougot a chop for a little bit like youknow let's go over here we got some ironthat's goodmaybe we'll have enough iron to makeourselves some kind of like somethingcan I mind that I can't mind that okayWatch at: 11:20 / 11:40well I'm just gonna go like in a roughcircle for right now there we go I feellike they sped up the day cycle toosince the last beta I don't know if theydid or notbut it kind of feels like the day timegoes faster like I'm feeling like I gotto move a little bit quicker in order toget anytime you got a first video of thedayyou gotta warm up the juices a littlebit you know it takes a little bit forthe thought processes to flow not 30minutes ago I was laying in bed browsingon my phone and now it's work time suchWatch at: 12:00 / 12:20as it is I mean I'm not gonna pretendlike my job is hard but let's go aheadand we'll grab some iron ore for rightthere all right well grab a little bitof this I went too far out in the woodsand a guy shot me with an arrow it wasvery very not nice of him among the manymany realms of things that areconsidered socially acceptable firing anWatch at: 12:20 / 12:40arrow into your friend is is one ofthose things on the list that I thinkwill sour diplomatic relations fairlyquickly I think I'm going to come backand I think I'm going to destroy hisentire village he's just gonna getAnakin's well big bummer ruski it lookslike my axe broke so we have collectedabout all that we can collect for rightWatch at: 12:40 / 13:00now however we have 103 wood we've gotnine iron we've got a bunch of stone sohopefully that's gonna be enough to getus somewhat equipped at the outset ofthis adventure so for a sword we needwood and iron let's do it wood and ironbrother will go with a sword right therewe can make a shield out of wood andiron let's do it so now we've got aWatch at: 13:00 / 13:20sword and we've got a shield let's godown here and see if there's anything wecan craft with the aid of this guy righthere I think most of this stuff requiredwool and I'm still not super sure whereI get wool from my guess is that woolprobably comes from one of the biggerbadder enemies that's a little bitWatch at: 13:20 / 13:40further out past the Tier one materialsmaybe and what else did I needoh yeah I need another wood axe let's goahead and make another one of thosefrankly we can make a whole bunch yeahjust make a couple of them as far as theinventory goes it doesn't look like wecan hold that much stuff but it doeslook like we can actually backlog awhole bunch on like crafting tools soWatch at: 13:40 / 14:00you know what let's do that yeah let'sjust make like a couple of these righthere just to get us moving not enoughmaterials oh we don't have enough sticksnice okay well not nice but you get whatI'm saying let's feed some souls thetree get it all nice and healed up I'mnot gonna heal myself for right nowbecause I am a crazy person what doesWatch at: 14:00 / 14:20this guy do right here hold on there'slike a diffthing over here oh you can fast travelokay so there's gonna be like fasttravel shrines that we're gonna find aswe get further out so the beginning wecan continue our adventures even thoughwe're like hugely isolated from ourcentral territory that sounds goodnighttime is upon us it's time to seehow that DPS do now that we gotWatch at: 14:20 / 14:40ourselves an actual stabby implementwith which to defend the tree we'restill walking around in our underwearlike a pleb so that kind of worries meI'm not trying to do like a mr. Proteusthing out here just walking around allnaked first introductions to people areimportant and I do think that they'llkind of write me off if they just see meout here in my undies I do feel like itWatch at: 14:40 / 15:00has more reach so that's good is thereany way for me to like get over herefaster can I like sprint or somethingthese things do not seem interested inme at all like they're utterly justignoring methere we go just knock out a couple moreWatch at: 15:00 / 15:20of them my swords got a reasonableamount of durability I actually want toget these kills myself because I thinkwe can use the XP when we got one morecoming in I don't know if I'm gonna beable to get him in time before thedaytime starts might be a waste ofdurability yeah I was gonna say I'm justgonna I'm gonna save it let's go out andWatch at: 15:20 / 15:40see if we can get some materials forsome actual clothing so that we can belooking good in the field out here I'mtrying to get all squared away and makeit look like I am a Viking warrior ofnote and the game is not making itsimple right now yeah go ahead and healme on up looks good alright let's headout to the wilds I think I'm gonna headto the north first because if a VikingWatch at: 15:40 / 16:00was gonna head anywhere right to thenorth is a good place to start after allthat's home so here to the north I seesome kind of building you can see itright on the edge of the fog of war inthe bottom right definitely think it'sprobably worth checking out oh it's abridge okay yeah let's check out theWatch at: 16:00 / 16:19bridge let's see where that goeswe've got time I do want to find out howwe get like wool though I'm interestedin that like maybe this guy drops it ehyouthere we go that that was what was upright there we got some bones and we gotsome leather and we took that guy's soulthat's how spiteful we are in battleWatch at: 16:19 / 16:40right here just stealing souls non-stopwell there's three of them right there Idon't think I could take three of them Icould take one of them but he did apretty good chunk of damage to me solike I don't know if it's a good ideaoh he's rolling away too well I got himright there yeah probably could haveWatch at: 16:40 / 17:00gone betteroh we got wool off of that guy nice sonow we just need the silk so if we canfind some silk now we can actually makeour first set of armors those dudes dropwools so we learned a new thing todayI guess there's apparently like DarkElves out here or something that areWatch at: 17:00 / 17:20gonna be getting in the way trust an elfto be on the wrong side of the conflictam i right I bet the dwarves would neverdo us like this I bet the dwarves wouldbe standing side-by-side shield in handholding the section of the wall but noelves they're gonna go and sell out andjoin the enemy because that's what elvesdo they're wishy-washy that's why youshould never trust an elf it's kind ofWatch at: 17:20 / 17:40explosive I wasn't expecting to fly thatfar apparently I've got quite a swingingarm on me so we get fur and leather fromthose guys I don't think we've neededleather for much so far now that I'mWatch at: 17:40 / 18:00thinking about it I think leather hasbeen one of those things that I don'tknow if I saw it on any of the recipes Imean it might have been there and Imight have just missed it seems possiblegrab that right there if I remembercorrectly all the weapons in this gamehave like different things that they dotoo so if you take like an axe you getdifferent abilities than if you take asword than if you take a hammer and soWatch at: 18:00 / 18:20something to keep in mind there isactually maybe some kind of bonus tousing your favorite weapon and notgetting locked into a singular choicethe entire game like if you're lookingfor things that stun if I recallcorrectly I think the hammer did like arandom stone or something like that orit had like an AoE slam that stunned theenemy so you could finish them off Idon't recall exactly it's been a longWatch at: 18:20 / 18:40long time since the last alphaopen beta or whatever it was but I amexcited about this game I'm lookingforward to like being able to jump intoa server because your character progressis gonna hold in between Maps as far asI understand it and so like you canlevel up kind of in single player doingyour own thing and then jump intosomebody else's game it's like the samelevel as you help them out a tad makeWatch at: 18:40 / 19:00their game go a little bit simplerperfect a little bit more fur a littlebit more leather yeah let me get thatgood so I can't get anypotions right now it's a shame because Iwas feeling especially thirsty thiswould have been a great opportunity forthe old potion vendor to make himself acouple of nickels but I guess he's justgonna pass up on this pecuniaryWatch at: 20:40 / 21:00opportunity well the night has come it'stime for us to deal with a few morehelpings so hopefully they're feelingespecially spry tonight because the lastcouple nights they haven't been puttingup a great fight they've given me a lotof opportunities to heal my tree up tofull by feeding it with the soul of myfallen enemies which honestly is one ofWatch at: 21:00 / 21:20the most metal ways to do gardening likeif you're a gardener and you're havingtrouble getting like the nitrates rightin your soil and getting your oleandersto grow consider feeding it a human soulmight work out pretty well might workout better than you expect what am Igonna use fingernails for why are youprying the fingernails off things youWatch at: 21:20 / 21:40absolute psychopath that's not the firstthing that I think after I slay myenemies is like let me peel off hisfingernails real quick and it to mychalkboard collection like oh you betterget away from that tree you will notchannel a magic spell you will notdamage the tree that thing is a fineWatch at: 21:40 / 22:00manzanita grown for a hundred yearsall right by my people leave it alonejust let it grow let nature beapparently we're in Beaufort er I can'tsay the second word we don't have thatletter we don't have that letter guysI'm headed out into the Beaufort erWatch at: 22:00 / 22:20watch out cook me some dinner I'll beback in a little bit it's time to goBofur ting well so far in the midst ofthe field there's not a whole lot to beseen out here what I'd like to see fromthis game actually is it'd be reallyif each map there was a collection ofrandom NPCs that do different things andyou could invite them back to yourvillage after like resolving an event orsomething before a night time they comeWatch at: 22:20 / 22:40back to the village and like let's sayone guy works in a mine and supplies youwith like an extra 15 iron a day orsomething like that and a chance at likea rare gemstone every morning there'sanother guy who's a lumberjack and doessomething similar there's another guywho's like an Armour vendor or like anarmour merchant or whatever who likeinstead of crafting the gear there'sWatch at: 22:40 / 23:00just a chance every morning that in histrades he'll come back with you know arandom shield or something like thatwith his durability at a random leveland he'll put it inside of your stashthere's little things like that likereasons for people to strike out and gosuper far into the wilderness as ofright now it seems like the reasons togo really really far out are just to gethigher level crafting materials butWatch at: 23:00 / 23:20honestly actually I expected to see afew more enemies out here I need likesilk or something in order to completesome of my later crafts I am eating alot of damage right now I'm just takingthat damage straight to the head we haveWatch at: 23:20 / 23:40over here we got a little bit of wool alittle bit of bones I'll take it whoknew the elves were woolly it's a newthing about the textural aesthetics ofelves that I've never really consideredlike dwarves I'd freely admit that yeahthey're probably pretty woolly but likean elf no I just don't naturally thinkWatch at: 23:40 / 24:00of an elf as being woolly looks like wefound a new biome out here what is thisthing can I do anything with theselittle campfires like what's up withthese little campfires ready there'scampfires and then they have a littlethey have like a little sconce next tothem kind of wondering if I can get somekind of item to light those up and thoseWatch at: 24:00 / 24:20become like the fast travel points so Ican save myself a little bit of legworkwhile we're out and about the world sowe found some kind of new biome up hereoh that doesn't sound like a happy noiseoh that's a yotan okay let's maybe let'snot mess with frost giants or desertWatch at: 24:20 / 24:40giants or whatever they are I wouldrather not let me get that though I'mgonna borrow that for a minute just kindof take it with me yeah this is tribesof Midgard obviously this is one ofthose games that I think is really gonnabenefit from having you know multiplepeople playing it but you can't play itby yourself and so I wanted to give anWatch at: 24:40 / 25:00impression of that I don't know wheresilk drops it's got to be from some mobthat as of right now we haven'tdiscovered yet that's in a particulardirection that we haven't gone but we'llget it at some point and then we will nolonger be a painted face dreadlock Inu Tman I'll see y'all next time
